Winter is a great time to make bubble hash! Though next year I think I’ll try making some fresh frozen for comparison I hear it’s delicious.

No I did not leave it to dry next to the bounce sheets haha. Would that be considered a flavor additive? :)

I also just purchase some Blueberry Muffin Top and some BOG Sour Bubble cross, which I will grow indoors over winter.
Hope everyone is doing well gonna catch up on this thread now!
Dry ice sift for the win! I didn't think I'll ever go bubble.

I will give it a shot at some point, it looks super simple but is the quality the same?
I would say bubble has the potential to be higher quality over dry ice. You can be more gentle with bubble hash process. It's a personal cost benefit analysis, that for me, bubble isn't justified.

Nice-looking bubble hash! Going to do a dry sift run next month out in the garage some chilly night in the teens or single digits with all the Tirah stuff that’s been hanging since harvest that I didn't jar for flower. Has to be somewhere around six pounds to run.

Was gratified to receive a warning from a family member to whom I gave some Hawaiian Hashbud X Balkhi flower to be cautious about consuming concentrates made from it, as he found the high to be very long-lasting and potent. This guy smokes all day every day and has a high tolerance, so if he says something is potent then it really is. I jarred the whole half-pound I got from that girl and wasn’t thinking of dry sifting any, but now I’m ready to accept the hash challenge it apparently will present lol

Gotta ask a question. What are you guys using to clean your bubble bags. I’ve always cleaned with alcohol but I replaced an old set last yr with “cheaper “ bags think bubble guy or something and alcohol isn’t cutting it

Time to make the heel hash! Tirah dry sift from 2021 crop. My dry sift skills aren’t good enough yet to produce full melt or anything clean enough to hand roll, so into plastic bags then into the sneakers it goes. A few hours of pressure and it solidifies into firm chunks that have a camouflage look. In the bong it reminds me of the blond hash that was around back in the 70s from Lebanon, fairly potent. A pound of very dry flower produced about an ounce and a half of hash.

So when I put the heel hash under the microscope I can see the small green leaf material that is impacting its purity and pressability. Just ordered a 305 thread 40 micron screen, and will run the sift through that so the crap falls through and I get a cleaner final sift to play with -5DF6FF3E-EAAF-4101-99FC-9126514BFF11.jpegE72786A1-CD39-49AD-895C-0B398D69D124.jpeg2CEB71DC-E70D-473B-92C9-FEB301FADE40.jpeg
