Well....I figured I'd go ahead and make a journal of this grow. This is in a 4x8 tent. Right now there are some LED lights in there that I got on the cheap with discount codes posted by @Marq1340 on the Best Deals thread. The soil is Fox Farm. Nutes used on the clones up to this point are GH Flora series supplemented with CytoPlus, VAM, RAW silica, and SuperThrive. Neem spray applied weekly as preventative maintenance, will be applied through 2 weeks after flip.

The plants are clones from a previous grow here https://www.rollitup.org/t/outdoor-2020-in-review.1035954/

6 x Widow Bomb (Bomb Seeds)
6 x White Widow (Seedsman freebie)
6 x Sour Kush (Sannies)

The clones for this were cut from the mothers on 12/28/2020, so they were 8 weeks post-cutting at the time they were transplanted. I was having issues getting a spot together for them, but they finally got their new home today. They should have been transplanted 4 weeks ago, but I've just been babying them along and trimming them back. They were def root bound and showing signs of stress/nute deficiency. They are bushy little beasts with gnarly stems now. hopefully they will really take off for a flip to flower in 1 to 2 weeks.

Please feel free to comment and barf all over this journal thread.

Sheesh. Tent is going to look amazing. Any training techniques planned?

Which lights do you have in there exactly?

I'm only 3 weeks a grower, but I thought only HPS lights caused this problem with photos.
I'm not sure why it happened in the pics that were taken with the phone inside the tent, but the pic taken from outside showing the mother doesn't have that.

I'll give the girls a couple of days to adjust to the new environment and then lst the branches down a little. I'm not going to go crazy with it. I don't want to be crawling around under a SCROG net that size, and when I grew these outside, they held up the weight of the big outdoor buds without extra support. I want it to be in flower within 2 weeks.

The lights in there right now are the SZHLUX's. I'll see if I can squeeze in a couple of 200w COBs that are lying around too, but for now they have enough light with the SZHLUX's.

Here's an update. Veg growth has def started to happen since the transplant. The leaves are discolored some, but not as badly as it appears in the picture. For some reason, pictures under these lights come out funny looking. I think the leaf color issues are residual from how stressed they were, being so root bound before transplant, as opposed to nutrient deficiency. They def have all the nutrients they need. Temps, RH, pH are acceptable. They were dosed today with Botanicare Pure Grow and Xtreme Gardening Mykos WP (never used Xtreme products before).

Within the last week I started supplementing Botanicare Pure feed with Easy Weed, soluble humic/fulvic, and silica. Today I gave a weekly foliar neem spray with nutes included and I gave neem soil drench with feed. I did a light defoliation after the picture was taken. Everything is looking pretty good. Will change to 12/12 this week.

Yeah there are two fans hanging up in opposite corners, just above the level of the lights, blowing down onto the canopy at medium speed. They're not beating the canopy around, just giving some gentle breeze and stirring the air. There's also a proper exhaust fan.

Two weeks of 12/12 done. The girls have stretched a lot. The WB1 is definitely more stretchy than the WW or SKM. Pistils and the starts of little buds are starting to show.

WB1 is in foreground, WW in middle, SKM is at the back.

3 weeks 19 days of 12/12 today. Everything is coasting along okay. They are happy. Feedings have gone to full dose of Botanicare Pure Blend Bloom, half dose of CytoPlus, and half dose of Botanicare CalMag+.

I'm 60% cloudy trichrome with maybe a week left. All 3 very small (2 feet maybe) plants are very frosty. I must say this little light has sold me on LEDs.

Just a reminder, I'm working with the 400w version.

Are you using the 400W SZHLUX that @Marq1340 got that $80 discount on? For sure that discount code was worth it. The build quality doesn't feel great, but that's a lot of light for $80.

In this 4x8 tent there is 1 x 400W SZHLUX, 2 x 200W SZHLUX, and 1 x 200W iGrowtek for a total of 1000W of LED's. These were all purchased using @Marq1340 discount codes. The total cost in lights is about $300. It's a little underpowered to cover a 4x8 canopy, and the light distribution is def less than ideal. I've got the plants and lights positioned the best I can to get a good distribution of light across the canopy. That's why the canopy is not totally filling out the tent.

Yes! This is an $80 light. Can't wait to harvest, but I'm waiting.
