2019 - New Year / Refreshed Room / Large Pheno Hunt

Thought I would document my first 2019 run.

Took a few months off to relax and refresh the room.

Created two new SIPs and trying my have at pheno hunting using hempys. Should be a fun run.

Going to be looking for males and females for each of the lines. Some will be sexed and dropped into the big SIPs others will be each through sog style to get an idea as to what each individual see is bringing to the table.

The strains going this run:

Group A

Mimosa - Symbiotic
Godhead (Blockhead x 88G13HP) - Bodhi
Dragons Blood Hashplant - Bodhi
DLA 4 (Kashmir 22 x 88G13HP)
Force Empathy - Alphakronik
Tres Dawg x SR71PK - Strayfox

Group B

Jackpot Royale - Alphakronik
Mountain Temple F2 - Personal Chuck / Bodhi f1 gen
Aspen (Mountain Temple x Designer OG) - Personal Chuck / Bodhi and Archive F1 parent stock
Denver Diesel S1 - TD parent stock / Chuck
Pure Ghost OG - Cannaventure

So did a full refresh of the room.

Resealed the floors.
Repainted the walls.
Cleaned all the lights.
Hung additional supports to spread out the lighting better.

Built a couple of new SIPs.
Reammended the new and old SIPs with additional nutrients and a large disagree of need cake to help with IPM.

A few additional minor tweaks and I should be good to go.

Need to finish the controller box for the veg cab seen in the pics above . Quick and relatively simple .

Also need to add a t5 for supplemental uv. I already have the ballast and space but need to order some bulbs.

Seeds are in various stages. But getting ready to transfer out of the box and into the room for those in group A.

So.....had a couple of cold snaps and lost all my clones and most of group B.

I was able to get a good showing off the Mountain Temple f2s. They were bred in the space though and might be better acclimitized.

I decided to pop some more seeds today to coincide with the full moon. Should be interesting.

I'm hoping to find another keeper similar to the mom I lost. Also planning on making f3s.

Hopefully these hello me round out the room and make a better run at some genetic preservation.

In other news, one of my Dragonsblood hp is showing the blood trait. Excited and planning on making f2s.

Two different sizes. The larger ones are made fromf45 gal toes / have 30 gal soil / 12 gal resivor. Those have been going for a few years now and the soil is nice and established.

The new ones are made from 27 gal totes. I'm guessing 15 gal soil / 8 for the resivor.... We will see how the work out. I reammended s anold batch of soil for them. Will have to see how they do.

Damn! Those things must weigh a LOT! Do you veg in other containers? Or go straight from rooted clone to those? I can't imagine those are very moveable unless they are on rollers. I made one 27 gallon one also worry about the height on them.

Yeah...I try not to move them. Pretty much impossible when the res is full. In between runs, I usually let them dry out if I need to move them. That makes it manageable with two people.

Group A



This bunch send to be doing pretty well.

I have 1/5 Force Empathy.... Hopefully it's decent. (Upper left hand corner).

I have 1/5 tres Dawg x lvpk from strayfox. Looking forward to this one. (Lower left hand corner).

Both of these had lower germ rates (3/5) and I lost two of each when I lost the other plants.

The next three from the left side are mimosa. 4/5 germed, and I lost one in the cold snap.

I lost all of the dla4 in the cold.

Next three over are dragons Blood Hashplant. 3/5 with a 4/5 germ. Lost one in the cold snap. Front most dbhp has the blood trait. Super excited about this one, male or female.

The final five are godhead. 8/5 germ. Lost two in the cold snap. Of the remaining six two were mutants. One of those mutants was tossed as it hasn't shown any growth in three weeks. So now I have 4 that are healthy and normal, one mutant. (Lower right hand corner is the mutant).

Group B

Getting ready to sex group A.

Maybe another week on 24/0 and then flip to 18/6 to sex.

Looking to fill out 8 SIP spaces. Full veg cycle in the SIPs, just need to see see while small.

Everything else gets run in the 3 liter hempys.

Last five are godhead. The mutant seems to have started to grow out of it.

Those white stones, what are they called? ty in advance.

They look like Growstone.
