Honestly, because I am not that bright lol. I was reading a post about Stepwell soil (which I almost bought) where they were telling a guy to use 10gal next time because 5 gallon is too small for soil. I normally only use 3-5 gallons with coco so I have piles of them around if I run soil again.

10gal are way too big for a 5x5 if not growing a single plant that is trained to take up the whole space I now believe.
3-5 gal is plenty for soil. ;)

Started adding cal mag for the plants because 1 was showing pretty heavy deficiency and others were potentially showing minor deficiency. Growth has picked up, I am continuing to LST and will be Topping and flipping within about a week or 2 if they still seem healthy and happy.

I'm amazed that it is doing so well like that in my buddies tent under an old Mars....looking forward to running it under my QBs . COBs should work well :bigjoint:

Thanks !. Grown lovingly in organic living soil;)...this is the 5th cycle now and the soil thriving for sure. Plants just get RO water pretty much with the odd tea or top dress.
