Nice grow list. Those dinafem strains will be rockin critical jack has had some great reviews. Hope you get some sticky phenos.

I would not use alcoholic beer since it can dehydrate your herbs. Also it slows the growth your fungi down. I would instead use ph balanced molasses water or something with sugar to give the fungi a boost. But beware gnats will be attracted to it:) good luck. I use beer to kill gnats and snails by simply pouring it in a slightly covered container. Don't do this unless you have problems cause it will attract them. I had a 3 week battle with a few snails in my room, they ate 3/4 of the base stem until I set traps and caught them all. I had to completely seal my room to prevent that from happening. Sorry for the rant. Peace
hey studslice! RANT an rave all you like!! Get it all out ya system! ;) :) I have been using Molasses for a couple of grows now... seems to me that the Ladies in Green like a *varied diet... I will feed them a selection of different nutes this time round... and perhaps I'll try out the beer on one - to test... Must test... I didn't see any snails around... my problem last season was frickin Caterpillars... It was my first proper Outdoor grow last season an I did not anticipate Caterpillers... and I didnt even realize what was causing the problems until harvest when I started looking INTO buds and started finding very happy very fat very very stoned frickin caterpillars!!!!!!!!
but if there ain't any problems - you can't learn nothing new!
LOL
so here we go... off into my 7th grow! ... with enthusiasm....

>>>>>>>>>> Happy Growing!!!!

hey Miss

I would strongly suggest using Epsom salts when watering your plants 1 tbsp/gallon should do it
Epsom salts=magnesium sulphate
Magnesium for chlorophyll production and sulfur for some other good shit
look it up if you please or try it just on a few to see the difference

we don't have caterpillars that will burrow into bud here where I am (not that I have seen) but I do get worms (cutworms?) that eat into the stalks and then eat their way down your stalks. i'll look for the stuff i use to spray them and let you know as it works well. also it is supposed organic with the OHMRI organic certified label on it. safer's i want to say its called it is for caterpillars and worms I will use it a couple times as a preventative when the worm season is here. mid June to mid July is when I get them before any bud forms, I'm sure the caterpillars must be later and worse. I don't like any insecticide but I have not found a better way yet myself.

you've got an early start if those seedlings are for outside. you should have some monsters come fall. i received some of my seeds for this outdoor season this week i am exited to start myself but it will be at least a month before i can as space is issue.

I don't put my plants outdoors until other plants start greening up. I put them out last year super early and voles(herbaceous rats) ate the them up. Luckily I caught them with peanut butter. I've also had minor problems with some type if caterpillar eating my buds late in the year.

Don't put Epsom salts on it if it already has a dark green color because it will become toxic and cause minor problems. Epson is great though! I applaud you for using such a complex substrate.

I am lazy when it comes to outdoors, I'll check on them 2 or three times a month. And take a tinkle near them to ward of the varments and claim my territory. Muhahaha . I personally think outdoors can be more difficult than indoors due to Murphy's law. But the yield is by far the best. I'll be following this thread!

Yo Tr3chome! I do have some Epsom Salts... so I'll defo use that if I see the Ladies needing a Boost!... I'll just give them a bit of everything... and I'll be using Friendly Fungi Root Grow because I tried that stuff last season and it really works... made my tiny autos have giant treelike stalks... LOL ....

Nooooooo I don't Like the sound of those Wormy thingzzzzzzzzz Noooooooo
eating their way in and down the stalks.... thazzz not very Polite!!!!
I will be keepin an eye out for those Pesky Caterpillars!
And lemme know what organic stuff u found...

Yeah I started Early because the seeds are from my last crop and I didn't know if they'd be female (rodelization?) or not.. so I thought if I started January there would be enough time - before Light-Hours-Lengthen - that they wud start to flower and I could eliminate any males - then they would simply reveg and carry on... but I dunno if My timing is right... Only one way to find out.... Wait.....

So My Real Seeds will be germed March 10th and 11th coz thats what the Moon Lunar Cannabis Planting Calendar tells me is the best days! ! ! ;)

So I still need to be patient but U guys have probably gatherrrred
I Am Not Doing Good At Patience! grrrrrrrrrrrrr

Patience is Impossible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lmao that's funny. Yeah it was a paranoid make your armpits sweat high, I'd imagine that's the sativa in it. We have a lot of the same taste in genetics and I think I can learn a lot from all your growing . I am currently falling in love with some blue dream bag seed plant, it is thee most frosty thing I've grown and I've grown some killer white widow and caramelo but I think I may have a keeper and she's not herming up at week 4, keeping fingers crossed. I lost my sativa caramelo but have 2 indica sisters that I got from a friend and they had mites on them . Still do but I been spraying them with homemade organic nuke bomb lol any plans for future strains? I've looked at darkstar, cherry bomb, sour tangie, great white shark, pineapple express, grrr the list goes on. Crazyness. I bred a female caramelo with a big bc blueberry stud and have some of them going and they have stinky leafs as well . I hope that's a good thing lol I know they stink the house up if I open my grow room door.

for the worms I had I used Safer's brand with BT. it is for caterpillars so it should work for the caterpillar problem. maybe you won't get them again? last year was the first I had ever had worms eat into my stalks, bore holes up the centers actually. at the same time crops (non mj)around here were getting devastated by army worms. I thought mine were army worms but after reading a bit and taking the things to greenhouses the locals said cutworms.

last summer was an odd year here, lots of rain and sun, bumper crops of everything that carried fruit or berries and seen lot of wildlife that is not normally around here. hope the worms I had were part of the odd not the norm. maybe the caterpillars will be the same?

In my experience of BUGZ.... theres always "bug of the year" so... every year ... yay horray... a New Bug arrives to make u learn new techniques... so some years will be friendlier than others depending on which Bug is Bug-Of-The-Year....... LOL :D
