Shocking news to nobody.

I'll gladly trade a delay in legalized weed for a period of fiscal sanity and economic common sense. The question is are the enough Conservatives in the party to make it happen.

Those damn evil republicans, they won't legalize weed and refuse to give me a free check to buy some so I can sit on my ass all day and smoke out..

why do you delude yourself?

every time the republicans have been in power in your lifetime, they explode the deficit and cause a recession, then you have to wait for a democrat to fix it all.

are you retarded or deluded?

Daaaaang, the dems should have had you stumping for them. The Pubs wouldn't have thrown them such a beating if they had to contend with the likes of you and your rapier insight.

And?

The democratic party pretty much OWNS California politics and has for YEARS, and weed is STILL illegal there.

The democratic party had BOTH, the house AND senate AND a democratic president, and weed is STILL illegal in the nation.

The democratic party hasn't done shit for cannabis legalization, except use it to exploit their moronic and naive followers for votes.

The bottom line is that political parties won't care about cannabis legalization until the cannabis industry starts lining their pockets with ca$h....like everybody else.

So what you're really saying is 30 odd percent of republicans support legalization?

Cuz when I read the thread title, then opened the thread, I was amazed to find that the number under republicans for legalization was NOT zero.

I'd have to disagree with the thread title. There are quite a few republicans on this site that do in fact support it.

Neither party has legalized it. The people have. Go people!

Does it always include a record majority in the Congress and a gubernatorial "bloodbath"?
the GOP doesn't even have a super majority, and this is the best they have ever done?

wow, i guess when you set your standards low, any mundane election in your favor is a cause for putting semen stains on your tighty whities.
