Hey I got a question for all of you kessil users. I'm looking to supplement my clw 400 solarstorm. I was looking at 4 of the h150's. 1 for each corner of my 4x4 flowering tent. Is there any such thing as too much red? I was looking to get 4 of the reds but thought I'd ask someone that has experience with them. Maybe 2 red 2 magenta or somthing? Any input is appreciated. Not worried about veg only flower

Thanks for the reply. Well I have plants in all diferent stages of flower I rotate 1 out every 2-3 weeks and another one from the veg tent fills the void. Too much red not good for first couple weeks of flower?

I have heard that too much red causes stretch. The latest trend is to kick on reds right before lights on and right after lights off. It mimics sunrise and sunset. People are cutting a week off of their flower times.
@SomeGuy and @captainmorgan are posting some amazing results and they can point you to the research.

Cheers,
Mo

I only do the 5 minutes of 730 nm after lights out,It's like throwing a switch on the plant. No known benefit for before lights on,you need 660 nm in your light source at lights on to switch the plant back quickly.

I would pass up the auto but thats me. Your plant came out nice man:-)
Thx doc.....ended up being 26 grams total on da buds dry. I made some hash from the trim and leaves using dry ice extraction with a silk screen and a press and got about 2 grams. So with the hash it ended up being almost an ounce. The dry ice method works extremely well. The down side is the plant did have some seeds. More seeds in some buds then others, but I did have an issue early on in veg where I waited too long in between waterings. The plant recovered after I watered it, but it got a little stressed out which might have caused the male flowers.

Sawing! That looks nice bro. As you could clearly see from photos, I did not have much trim from my plant. Using the dry ice was great though. It's almost magical lol!
