I am not anywhere near the West coast where the TGA bagged super soil is available and I heard at the School of Dank dioxide talk about the newest recipe. He said that you guys are now adding Kelp and Alfalfa meal, as well as more Azomite to your recipe. I was curious as to how much of each and if there are any other new additions to the soil that I should be adding.

I could be wrong but I think thats only in the bagged super soil cause if you make your own the roots/base soil has that stuff in it, so when they made the bagged stuff they obviously didn't use roots as base soil so they had to make they're own (base) this is why the extra ingredients

Do you have NPK ratios of the last 4 ammendments? I made the mistake on my first batch of putting too much N and not enough P. Lush green growth, just slow bud development.

I believe the added ingredients are for the TGA bagged soil only cause they started from scratch, when we make super soil we use roots as a base witch has the extras in it, If u were to just use sunshine mix or promix as your base then u would add those extras

I don't mean to bust anyone's bubble here, but I went over to the lab at Everwood Farm last week to get a nute test done. They were doing a side by side analysis on TGA natural & organic soil. Seems to be exactly the same as DTE Pro mix: same ratio and type of coir and peat, same myco, same base nutes... Looks like it is being re-bagged by DTE of them. Which I think is cool cause i've been using DTE pro mix for several years now and lovin it.

What if you want to make a small batch of super soil... These recipes are using pounds of things... My backyard couldn't even hold that much mix.

does anyone have a smaller recipe or can someone post the formula on how to find the smaller ratios?

Thanks :)

The TGA super soil web site now sell 5lb charge pack witch makes approx 3 cubic feet instead of the regular 25 lb witch makes 12 cubic feet
If you want to make your own there are lots of half size and quarter size mixes threads just use half of everything or a quarter or whatever you want it simple math brother good luck

When it calls for 6 bags of roots, is it the .75 or the 1.5? & I'm guessing the pro mix & coco are the same size as well?
