Just a few hrs, long enough to set-up the roaster and say hi. I'd like to get home before dark so I can load up firewood for Sat. I be back at 7:00am Sat morning to get the pig started.........

Yea its lookin like ill be out there saturday. Might be a lil nippy for camping this year for me. Are we doing a spring party to?

I just called the butcher to confirm my order & the pig is already here, they just received it. They will butterfly it and hold it for us until Thursday. I haven't done this for a few years, I'm getting excited. If you have never been to a pig roast, you're in for a treat!.........

When do you expect to be pulling the pig out of the roaster? I have trouble being on my feet for very long so I'm not going to able to stick around for a long time, but I would really like to see the pig come off the fire.
