let's just throw it out there...

if your talking about how good your shit is... and don't enter it.... YOUR ALL TALK! pretty simple right?!

if you want to "stay underground" so you can grow illegally after the 25 mile rule takes your grow rights... do your thing. just don't come on to my thread knocking those that do enter and like to do things the legal way. that kind of mentality is part if the reason you still hide, you encourage prohibition with your actions.

the attorney general raid the kush expo? the attorney general raid the farmers markets? the last growers cup? NO to all of the above folks!

sounds like a bunch of excuses if you ask me. nothing more than your own personal conjecture in place of an actual entry. and as always, let me put my money were my mouth is.

ready folks? put up or shut up time....

I'LL PAY. THE 100$. anyone from prior to this post want to enter, want to prove that bull shit your talking? now's your chance.... on me.

any cardholder can enter the sample to keep your name out of it so no excuses there right..? I'm paying so no excuses on cost....

go ahead, PROVE me wrong.... cause until then your just the kid on the end of the bench watching the game, telling everyone you can do it better:-)

i'll wait for the next volley of excuses out of the same old same old on here lmao

on one side of the coin you can have a job, in a dispensary, making 50-100k a year, legal protection to some extent from their attorneys, benefits, healthcare, etc.... OR... you can grow illegally next year, face state prosecution as well as federal, make very little coin, and have nothing but a restitution payment when its all said and done..?

why stay under 99 plants again..? still waiting for an answers on this one as well as how ANY dispensary could supply themselves off 99 plants in general and why do people still think that is the magic number ?!

I honestly think many underground growers have been doing this longer then most. If it isn't broken why fix it? Lol

I will be attending this event more then likely. What are the stipulations for entry? Amount of samples, cost of table, etc? Will there also be different categories like Hybrid, Indica, Sativa? I am curious to see what others have out there. it might just be worth it ;) but you know me, haha I like to stay low key
az420festival.com and mmjvaporlounge.com will have all the info you asked about regarding entrees.

there are 21 categories, 100 judges, and two contests. the judging and format for this event mirror what my friend, Bobby Black, does with the High Times Cannabis Cup. we have celebrity judges from the music industry as well as the MMJ industry participating.

whether you enter or not, being in AZ on 420 and NOT being at this MMJ festival would be silly. the entertainment line up alone is with the price of admission! 24 hr pool party with C.L. McSpadden and DJ Kevin Brown... the 2 live crew, Spice 1, the line up grows bigger and better daily... why wouldn't you go?

Wow is this guy a joke. no wonder everyone dipped out from this site. And it clearly states that you cant be compensated for your "extra" meds so why would you go about saying you pay 4k a lb. Isnt that incriminating yourself. Must think he is untouchable now.

I like Brian and the others at AZCS and missed them when they closed their forum. I see its back up and running but no news on when the dispensary will open up. Anyone have any updates?

On another note, I'm all for an April 20th day with buds, boobs and music!!

Just how much do you think he jacks up the prices on those 4k lbs? I bet it's ridiculous, but justified.

Good luck beating your head on the brickwall with this guy... he obviously knows everything and everyone. If you don't believe him he'll post 9 posts straight of exaggerations and bullshit to change your mind.

99 is the magic number... Its the differance between a mandetory 5 years in prison or probation...

Good enough reason in my eyes! Or maybe I am missing something mate?

Coming from someone who was arrested for having over 99 plants...
What kind of deal did you work out for 0 days in jail mate? I and many are just curious.
No one walks without jail time unless they are dropping dimes - IMO. Especailly a person who has past convictions for cultivation... (Not saying you did but...)

The monies generated from this event will go where? 100% for the Free market and folks making money from their labors.
What about the "25 Mile Rule"? (And the monies collected for the lidigation?) Here soon many folks will not be able to grow so what importance will this Canna Cup have next year?

There are alot of unanswered questions out there...

Aside from all the BS this event is much needed in Az and many others alike would only better the Whole picture for MMJ.

So if I enter Bill and win, can someone else except my trophy? Lol I don't want the notoriety of winning a cup, I just want to prove that I do have some good stuff and am willing to put it up against everyone else's. Hell I'd rather come on here posting my endeavor with this festival. I think it's a great idea but I honestly have yet to see true "top shelf" in any club or dispensary in Arizona. The only one I remember with top shelf paid 48 a pack for it and charged 75 per 8th to ill patients.

Lets do it bill, sign me up :) I can't wait for this :weed:

Also, does it have to be our own genetics we've created or just the best medicine we have? Not to be cocky or arrogant but I think the people entering your cup are in for a rude awakening. I will come out of underground just to prove my point ;)

Either I'm too medicated or the website is confusing. We can only bring an oz per strain? And it's 100 per strain? Please clear this up for me. I truly am going to enter

Bill correct me if I am wrong. Didn't you already do prison time once for growing?
All this smack online about getting paid 4k a pound, and (vendors).
Talk like that is pretty fucking poor judgment. Az may make a example out of you yet.
You clearly haven't figured out how this state works yet.

All this smack online about getting paid 4k a pound, and (vendors).
Talk like that is pretty fucking poor judgment. Az may make a example out of you yet.
You clearly haven't figured out how this state works yet.

I could reference that pricing to several statres with "for-profit" and "non-profit" programs in place. One quick example where such a figure would come from would be "Weed Wars" . They openly discussed that figure as their top price. High Times magazine has several strains in various states listing those prices. Also, as a dispensary agent, you would be allowed to reimburse another dispensary, as a caregiver you can collect reimbursement, etc. You are very correct that "dispensaries" will mark up those costs significantly and then add the appropriate city and state taxes as well. At $50 an 1/8th straight through they get back 6400 a lb plus tax. Sooooo paying 4k is a shocker??

Let me use the next comment...the one about AZ making an example out of me yet.... and the question of how I didn't do a single day in jail for those 996 plants...as if I needed to remind some of you lmao;

AZCS was a "co-op" plain and simple. In order to be a member of that "co-op" you had to "sign over cultivation rights" for a temporary period through contractual agreement with the previous/future members of the "co-op" in order to establish and "maintain an amount necessary to maintain an uninterrupted supply." <= anyone remember where that came from??

What, like everyone forgot why AZCS was soooo complained about in the beginning on these boards?? Cultivation rights being signed over and prices.

So, to answer your question, I rolled on no-one as there was no need, and fuck that noise btw. I took the hit for every plant in AZCS, you want to see the police reports from my "interview" ?? "hayes explained he was solely in charge of overseeing the cultivation operation"...say what you want about my "character" but I think that speaks volumes right there. My entire staff was released within two hours from the point of entry. I was held for over 5 hrs as I explained how the business operated.

They collected evidence, a 25 foot box truck worth and left.
This is where the PA gets the evidence and decides whether or not it is worth it to prosecute, or better yet, can they even prosecute??

We had signed contractual bi-lateral agreements with over 1000 members at just one of our locations, El Mirage. 1000 X 12 = 12,000 plants available in inventory of the co-op.
Please refer to the FAQ on azdhs.gov for more info. ..

"CU04: Can a qualifying patient or designated caregiver authorized to grow medical marijuana use the same enclosed, locked facility used by another qualifying patient or designated caregiver also authorized to grow medical marijuana? Would these facilities be subject to inspection?"
A: Sites used by qualifying patients or designated caregivers to grow marijuana are not subject to inspection by the Department. However, state law limits the number of plants that may be grown and includes the requirement that cultivation be done in "an enclosed, locked facility."

CU02: Does a qualifying patient or designated caregiver authorized to grow have to follow the same requirements as a dispensary to cultivate marijuana?
No, the only requirements that qualifying patients or designated caregivers who are authorized to cultivate marijuana must follow are the number of plants grown in an enclosed, locked facility specified in state law.

Nowhere does it say in ANY staute or any of the R&R from AZDHS that patients cannot participate in "cohabitation" for cultivation purposes.

That is why I never spent a single second in jail folks, we did it the right way, they just didn't know that form the outside looking in, so they came in, ya dig?!

And last but apparently never least, yes I have previous convictions for cultivation of cannabis.. I am easy to find...

"So if I enter Bill and win, can someone else except my trophy?" yes, and they can enter for you as well, unless they dont have a card, then they cant come in the lounge without a cardholder. They can accept the award on 4-21 for you though.

In regards to entering, it's $100 to enter one strain plus $35 for each additional strain, you need to submit one ounce for the entree.

And I just want to say something regarding my earlier post about the job fair...

THAT SHIT IS NO JOKE! Cannajobs is handling the job fair portion and the goal is to align dispensaary owners/operators with good staffing from local sources rather than import from elsewhere.
I have personally seen and heard of dispensary owners offering $50-75K to start, PLUS shares of equity in the business... take into consideration almost every application had documentation stating just how much each share of equity was worth, and they were all about the same cost...$50-100,000 per share.
That equals well over 100K per year once the dispensary is operating at full speed.
Treat it as a joke is you want folks, your choice, and you WILL bite yourself in the ass later down the road when people are posting their contracts.

I wish everyone entering the best of luck

and this site has always cracked me up for the two-sided-ness...

on one hand...one group will attack me for shit like the "pay 4k a lb" comment.... then turn around and talk about "staying underground" as if everything you are doing is not in a gray area of the AMMA somewhere. Give me a break folks.

I get slammed for taking cultivation rights, the get called a "narc" for not going to jail because the state decided not to prosecute, insufficient evidence, because I took those cultivation rights and had bi-lateral-contractual agreements with over 1000 patients they would also have to involve in the prosecution...seriously folks?? lol.."it's not what ya know, it's what ya can prove"

just keepin it real, hate me or love me for it, dont really care and haven't for a while ;)

and 1 more thing, to the guy that said I was the reason these boards were so dead... REALLY?! how long have you been here again??

When he was working with AZCS, did he care what quality meds were ? No. In fact many good growers I know were banned from those forums by Bill directly for offering good donations on good medicine. "Bill doesn't deserve the time of day, so please stop giving him attention." - and just what have YOU done to further "the cause"..how have you stuck your neck on the line for ANYONE in the industry or the patients?? feel free to explain it to us all...
"When he was working with AZCS, did he care what quality meds were ?" 1000+ patients agreed that I did, who backed your claims again???
"No. In fact many good growers I know were banned from those forums by Bill directly for offering good donations on good medicine." Your too ignorant to separate an online forum form a brick and mortar business, really? your kidding right?! If anyone was banned from the forums it was for breaking the rules, plain and simple. Plenty of people in the ETP section were offering meds and still are, they were never fucked with..hmmmnnnn...kinda makes what you claim look like bullshit huh?! I mean anyone can log on and see it for themselves lmao..they just have to do their own research instead of accepting what the guy with the most green dots says as the holy grail of truths. Go ahead and explain how all those other people managed to not get kicked out offering their medication services..?? go ahead, I'll wait. As always, your ALl talk and no data. Go figure.

"If you don't believe him he'll post 9 posts straight of exaggerations and bullshit to change your mind. "

was that ^ # 9 bitch?! LMMFAO@U

What you meant to say is"he will post real facts that make what some people say look questionable" people like yourself in particular ;)

i have never hid anything from anyone regarding what I do, so if you don't appreciate a little transparency in what has notoriously been a shady industry, crawl back under your rock.

Bill you have a interesting take on the law it seems your knowledge is well... will see.
In your vapor lounge can you explain how you get around the Az gambling laws which expressly
regulate and criminalize raffles and allow both prosecution and seizures for violations.
