2012 Max Yield Indoor Grow Show - ??

I have a question that I hope someone can help me with. The Max Yield shows are set up so that the first day is open to so called industry insiders or retailers. Then the 2nd day is for the general public. I have an opportunity to attend the first day with a buddy who is a retailer but was wondering if the vendors hand out samples to the retailers. Or should I wait and go the day it's open to the public? Basically I am going in hopes to score some nice product samples so if anyone has any info on which day would be the best to go, in terms of samples or giveaways I would love to hear some input. Thanx
