This is the begin of my 2011 Nor-Cal Medical outdoor grow

Strains are 7 Blue Dream, 3 Sour Diesel and 3 Afgooey!

All growing in 65 gallon smart pots and watered/feed with a guano tea that i brew and they really seem to like it and its not to expensive. The soil i used was Kellogg organic from home-depot and it was about $5 a bag

These First pictures were taken 6/8/2011 and the second are on 6/15/2011

1) Yea im trying to figure out how big of a grow bag or gallons of dirt the ladies need to reach full size with out wasted soil, space and at the end money!!!


2) The tiered step up is great, it allows all off the plants to receive as much sun as possible and they get light from east to west.

I am trying to get some ideas for training the plants as well as support them in bloom. I was thing of just buying a roll of fence 4x50 and rapping the fence around the bag and securing it with bailing wire to get it tight.
What do you guys think? This was the best i could think of as well as cheapest and i think we all know that in today's economy cheaper and mass production is the way of the world!!!

Thanks bro i appreciate it, just got out of the army and uncle SAM pays for most of it but i do have some free time. lol

Glad to see that someone else uses kellog's. It works great I just supercharge it before I put the gurls in the ground. It is a great soil but I dont think it will last the whole season with out adding dry amendments to it. Good Luck dirrtyd

Alright alot of you know about the tea but a lot don't just like i didn't a few years back and it makes a night and day difference!!! Anyways give it a try, its a good alternative to chemical nutriments, its organic and not to expensive!

well here we go, my box of goodies!

This is sun leaves brand i got in a kit online for like 25 buck for the small kit which is alot it might just last the grow season with only 12 plants but still cheap.

here is one of the cheapest kits online i could find-https://www.aghydroponics.com/International-House-of-Bat-Guano-p/NUTRSUN-721060.htm

I use these guano's as well as a liquid sea weed/fish fertilizer, alfalfa meal, worm castings and black strap molasses.

I put all the ingredients in panty hoes to act as tea bag minus the liquids i just poor in the bucket. As you can see a 5 gallon bucket, a cheap air pump to aerate the water and microbes and you can use an aquarium heater, the microbes like warm water and then feed off the sugars to breed.

This batch is not quite done yet, you will know when its done when froth forms on top of the water and the batch will go from a smelly fish/manure, to a earth like dirt smell and then your good to go and want to use it all in one shot or the microbes will die off.

This is the mixing chart that came with the guano and then one that i found off the net and altered to fit my plants needs.

That's another thing i see people mixing in huge 55 gallon reservoirs and i think its easier to make a concentrate then diluted when needed.

its all preference!!!! have fun:lol:

Sounds real good but one peace of advice ditch the stockings. Those microbes you speak of can barely make it out. A guy name CTGUY and microbeman hipped me to that from another site. Actually microbeman has his own website real cool dude and he really understand the ends and out of utilizing teas. I use some cheese clothbags and they work great i buy them at the 99cent store. keepem green dirrtyd

Nice thread just saw it! Looks a solid start. I just got a bottle of neem oil last night made by a friend to use to prevent the stupid bugs and stuff. I only went 20 gallons this year. Maybe next year step it up a bit like what you did ha!

yes neem oil is great, i just started using azamax and it seems to be working great both indoors and out but it is expensive but its one of those thing you don't want to risk going cheap on for your plants sake!

You should also have some BT in your arsenal made by safer. Or you could do a lavendar tea and spray it will kill all. Good Luck dirrtyd

hey man, beautiful garden. i cannot wait to own my own property one day, and build my own palace. as for now, im stuck renting, and wont spend the money/effort on a yard thats not mine. i built some boxes for veggies, thats about it. the mary jane is at a family members house.

im subbed, cant wait to see these trees!
