2010 Grow from Burger Boss

Hi All, Spring has "Sprung", and its time to start another grow.
Some of you know me, and I'm thinking that a lot of you don't, so if you want to "come up to speed" with me, check: 2009 grow from Burger Boss; that will give you an idea of what i'm about.

I'll be on the same patio as last year, (approx. 12X12X30).
Before I can began, there is a lot of storm damage to be addressed,
(see pix). I lost the clear polycarbonate roof to the wind, so this year,
NO roof! Maybe this will be better with unrestricted sunlight.
I'm going to start with some autoflowering strains that I hope to harvest by mid July, (My Birthday!). They include: Quick Silver, Tundra, Tiaga, & Roadrunner. I'm also starting some: G 13 Haze,
Blue Venom, Rock Lock, & Red Dragon. As an added attraction, I have some seeds from last years grow that were a complete surprise.
One of my Thai SS went hermie and puked some pollen on my Diesel and Super Skunk ladies, which gave me about 3 dozen big fat, mature seeds. Since this is a "new" cross strain, i'm very excited to see what I come up with.
I still have: Chocolope, Purple Haze, LA Woman, Pineapple Express,
Moby Dick, Sharksbreath, Amnesia Lemon, & Lemon Skunk.
I will try to find room for some of them later.
There's also Lowryder #2 & Pakistan Ryder that I'm saving for indoors next winter. The real killer here is the 45 "Skunk Train" seeds,
( I got 9 each of: Kandy Kush, Sleestack, Kushberry, LA Confidential,
& OG 18; all crossed with Skunk). Unfortunately, I have neither room or the energy to play around with them; maybe indoors next winter.

2009 was very bountiful, but with a lot of problems, white fly, spider mites, Sativa "Monsters" out of control, & a freak storm in October!
This year I will be doing intensive LST, (NO skyward "Beanstalks" this time, LOL).
Well, the "beans" are "apoppin' ", and my son will be in with a crew later this week to clear, "sterilize", and reset my grow area, So here we go..... Good luck & good grow to ALL.......BB bongsmilie
The pix include: my sad garden area, (for now!), the popping beans, & some items that I posted before, but thought I'd truck them out one more time for those that may have missed them. BTW, that IS me in the last pic.

Well Guys, thought I would post a quickie update. About 96 hours ago I put the 10 seeds into their Coco cups, filled with high quality seedling mix. (BTW, I don't do ANY presoaking or open germination, the seeds go straight into the soil. My reasoning for this is; Cannabis seeds have germinated on their own for many thousands of years without our help and if a seed can't pop on it's own, then it probably would be of inferior genetics, and who wants that? Get it?).
SO..... anyway... I just took some pix of the nursery.
I am pleased to announce the arrival of: Road Runner, Quick Silver, Rock Lock, Blue Venom, & Red Dragon!
My Vivatar is not great, but I think you can see them poking up. Maybe I should have waited a few more days, but after all these years, I STILL get excited around "birthing time", LOL.
Good luck & good grow to you ALL.....BBbongsmilie

Week one - done. Girls looking good - 3 probable failures - 7 are a rockin'! - Blue Venom, Rock lock, G 13 Haze, Quick Silver, Road Runner, Red Dragon, and my own strain, Thai SS X Diesel. The little ladies are under a 125 CFL in a "Brite Wing", and a seedling heat mat underneath.
The patio is coming along kinda slowly. I'm working on a cooling system with misters & box fans, it's a little tricky trying to get it cool without flooding, LOL. Got to run, theres a poker tourney coming up, (my 2nd greatest love). See you in a week. Good luck & good grow.....BB

ps: I hope you figure out what time it is, "OutDaCloset" LOL

A quick pic. of the girls getting their first "sunshine".
The Tiaga finally popped, but too young for sunshine yet.
Started a Super Skunk X Thai Super Skunk this morning.
This is another of my "own" strain from last years grow.
I have no idea how this will turn out, probably very unstable, we will see, lol. Good luck & good grow.......BBbongsmilie

Another pic. of girls getting a little "hand-held breeze", day 9.

O.K., we are 2 weeks from seed. The Taiga made it, the Tundra didn't. 9 girls working, and I'm going for 12 total.
Must choose between: Chocolope, Pineapple Express, Purple Haze, LA Woman, Sharksbreath, Moby Dick, or Amnesia Lemon. Hope to be in tub, on patio, by May 1.
Pix below are this morning, the last is of my "own" strains,
15 day old Thai S.S. X Diesel and 6 day old Thai S.S. X Super Skunk.

OK, week 3, and we've had a little bump in the road. The girls got a tad too soggy and we got the dreaded "yellow leaf" on some of our primary's. Hopefully I caught it soon enough to prevent serious damage. Going to start the Chocolope, LA Woman, & Pineapple Express this weekend. That will give me 12 main plants, but of course I ALWAYS have to clone a couple of them. So it's probably going to be tight as hell out there again this year.(The medical farmers plaint: If I just had a little MORE room......LOL) Anyway, Good Luck & good grow, and y'all come back soon, hear?........BBbongsmilie

The dreaded yellow leaf is hard to avoid - at least for me. I have a probe; I just need to start using it.
