200 watt ge bulb

has anyone every heard of a 200 watt bulb its not a mogel base it screws into a standard socket and looks like an incadesant. just wondering if its any good for my veg room i cant find anything on the internet other then its a canadian bulb that is rare

nope.... all cfl with true wattage over 200w are mogul to my knowledge. you can get an adapter from mogul to standard.

what about it saying it has a 3400 lumen output is it unusefull lumens i dont get it

The ratio of lumens to heat output makes the bulb not worth it. Plus it may be the wrong spectrum

3400 lumens is good output, does it have a filament you can see?
i like Ge cfl's, good quality for the price, 26w - 2700k - 1750 lumens

hmm its very white it is a hot bulb but nothing that couldnt handled i have 2 and its no were near the same heat as a 400 watt ive just got them over a purple o.g. mom im retiring the strain so not much of a loss if it affects it badly ill toss it just really curios still cant find any grow vid of people using them

there should be labelling on the bulb that says what it is, the description is confusing
