You could put a million plants in there and it ain't what's important. Its LIGHT! If you're growing in the 90% efficiency range, you can get 2.5 lbs per 1000. Not to mention, you gotta have the right strain. Remember a 1000 is only good for about a 4x4 area. That means you need 8 lights harvested per month. If you got an 8 week strain, then you need 16 lights in all. 8 per month.

You can't do it with out stealing the power and the house has to be at least 220 amp service. If it is then you run your lights at 240 volt, instead of 120. That way you could run 1 light at half the amps. You need a little bit of equipment to hook this all up but its not hard.

I can't agree more dazed. You gotta be thinking 8" air cooled hoods and a fan on each end pushing and pulling. I you can't keep the room cool then you can't run Co2. Without the gas, it will be almost impossible, unless you had that perfect strain. Then you gotta go top notch Nutes like AN. RO unit so the water is clean when you start. You gotta perfect your operation one sector at a time. First light, then grow medium, next nutes, so on and so on. This ain't an easy task my man but it can be done. Heck! I'm doing it

just so you know, "elite" means they donated to the site to have better access, this does not mean they know how to grow. also, you need to remember that the amount of bud you get from a sog does not gauge skill level. it has to do with veg time. you veg 2 weeks from clones and you may get 1/2-3/4 oz per plant, but if you veg for a month you will usually get more bud per plant. but then you have a longer cycle and they take up more room. i get a bit more than a half per, and i am a very experienced grower. furthermore, my cycles are set up to get this amount, if i wanted more per plant i could but the cycle is too long for me. so just a note, in a sog set up, amount of bud is decided by veg time and not typically skill level. though obviously skill has everything to do with everything in order to be successful. late

Though you don't need 20 pounds a month, Unless your the biggest dealer in the U.S.A. Lol. You should just save some for smoking, And sell some for cash to do your next harvest. It should just be a on-going thing you take some time off to do and grow your own marijuana. This 20 pound goal would attract fuzz, Unless you block off all odds. By that I mean... Don't let light go through windows, Try not to use alot of electricity (energy efficiant bulbs). Make a place to get away from it all incase the fuzz comes ( Maybe an escape route?, Put a like whole in the floor and a ladder down to a second floor room. Since this is a grow house. Just make sure your safe before you bring anything in there. Keep good locks on the door, Alot of kids try to break into houses they think might be growing pot, Or that look old and abbandoned. TRY NOT TO VISIT THE HOUSE OFTEN, OR STAY THERE OFTEN. Don't be coming in and out of the doors 24\7! BE SAFE, From a fellow grower... Good luck.

haha well you dont know where i live, i live in an area where grow houses with thousands of plants get busted every few months. so if you dont have suggestions or help why even post, why waste your time.

The max amount I've seen is a 8th a month never 20lb a month before.
Good luck with your electrical bill,20 pounds a month is a lot,shit 10 pounds a month is a lot!!If you really want 20 pounds a month,you probably need between 6 to 8 lights in each room,you got 4 rooms,you'll need about 24 to 30 lights.Your electrical would be around $3500 to $5500 a month.PGE red flag,i don't even think your electrical panel can handle that much power.

i post so ppl dont get dillusional ideas like this guy..if hes coming on here for ways to do 20lbs then obvously he wont be able to do it..no one on here grows that much so not one of us can help him..and if u guys want to say u do 20lbs a month then lets see the evidence...he wont be able to do it so why do u guys post????

He is trying to save you from yourself. He never gives advice, just name calls and tells you what you can't do just as you've seen from this thread. I'm surprised he didn't tell you to get 20 pounds a month all you need is one LED growlight and you'd be set. He is a funny guy not to be taken seriously.
20 pounds a month? Pretty much gotta do hydro and gotta do SOG. Figure average of 1 ounce per plant. OK so you have to do a perpetual grow and harvest once a month. 16 ounces per pound times 20 =320 plants harvested each month. Now it takes 3 months total on average to grow 1 plant all the way through to harvest so your gonna need 3 times the amount of plants you harvest...960 plants. might as well make it 1000 plants just for fun. Ok so now your gonna need lights, lots and lots of lights. Lets just figure 50W/plant to get the 1 ounce. Use light movers to get more efficiency and we will say for fun it will double your light capacity. 1000*50=50,000 total watts needed. Lets figure the amperage load shall we? 50,000/240 ( For a big setup like this you really have to use 240 volt ballasts) = 208 amps of power. thats almost 420 amps of 110v power. Thats a big fuggin load for sure, more on the lines of commercial use.
Even here where I live electricity can be as low as 4 cents per KWH at times, even then your bill is going to be in the neighborhood of 2 dollars per hour of lights on. The average rate for electricity is 13 cents per KWH, so then those lights are gonna cost about 6 dollars per hour of lights on....$72/day, BUT the big kicker is that the power companies can charge you more for using more, even here if I power hog I have to pay up to 4x the normal rate, so lets say those lights are now costing about $300 a day to run. BUT since your using light movers you only need half as much power to achieve about the same results, so in a perfect world you would half all your power costs.
Makes you think about the whole thing in a different perspective. Now imagine trimming out 20 pounds of weed by yourself.
