Curious if im going to run out of space with this gods afghani shes the tall one in the back, and just looking for general input at this point such as, what would you have done differently? Here goes:

P.s. I'm aware of stretching, fungus gnats, and the fact that i havent taken anything off of the lower half of the plants. i.e. The last photo. Thanks and be well!

You have tiny pots. Fail. They would have gotten much larger on top if the bottom would have been there. They look like your going to have a 2/3 gpw harvest To 3/4 gpw if your lucky. Really nice plants though. The tops are just much bigger than the bottoms.

They all appear to be incredibly lanky. Massive internode spacing. What kinda light conditions were they vegged in?

How are 5 gallon pots tiny when apparently the "norm" is 3 gallons? Also "they would have gotten much bigger on top if the bottom would have been there" - im completely lost on this, have no idea what you mean but im trying to understand.

They were vegged in the same tent under a 400w MH spaced 30cm away from the top of the plant at all times, temperatures never exceed 81. I too was wondering about the stretching but im a stickler about keeping the veg light low enough. My mother plants in another room would look more like what you are accustomed to seeing, lots of tiny spacing between nodes and lottts of multiple tops. But yeah. Stretching. Annoying.

By that math you guess 450grams roughly. What would you have done differently man?

Just put them in larger fabric pots. Someone said they were lankey. Thats only because (probably) they are competing for the light because theyre tight in there. But ya, roots equal fruits, more room equals more yield. Also if those plants arent up out of those trays then all of the runoff is going to be reabsorbed into the plant and that means that nutrients are going to start building up in your rootzone. I use spacers so that runoff evaporates. In full flower its just really hard to move them to empty those trays.

Thanks for the input man. Fabric would be nice, they dont take up as much room. I was actually going to downsize to 2 gallon pots so i could fit more plants in and flower at about a foot instead of 3 feet. Kind of sog style. No good? Thx again

No man, sog is great. If you do it right youll have a great yield.

Do it right. So, take clones and flower at about 12" - 18" correct? 2 gal pots? Just looking for some feedback and advice as this is only my second grow. Thx thus far!

Sounds about right. Ive never done sog. I grow trees. I have flowered some smaller plants and they did great for how small they were. Try to grow plants with one large main cola rather than the type that spread out everywhere with smaller nugs.
