my plants are 3 inches tall and only have the 2 round initial leaves and 2 textured leaves i believe this would be 2 sets of leaves but im not sure does this sound normal for a 2 week plant or is somthing wrong?

How big is the container. They go through a root growing stage, give them another week they should be growing more shoot by then. There healthy I take it.

2 weeks no way off .you have done something to stunt there growth.

2 weeks from breaking ground should be 4 small sets alrdy

If its 2 weeks from planting then yeah maybe your good depends on when it broke ground

A picture of the "problem plants" might elicit more of a response.

yeah there are a lot of factors like light, temp, water, humidity, etc. I have had certain strains do that but after I transplanted them and gave them ph'd water with some rapid root accelerator they kicked into high gear.

throw a pic or two up man.

screw cfl's in my opinion I use HID's, HPS's and MH bulbs more lumens means more yield but if you can't afford a ballast and all the other shit that goes along with them do what you have to, cfl's do work!

this is my set up:

not cheap by any means about $1200 after all was complete, built it with some help but it has already paid itself off from me not having to buy bud all the time.
