Fertilizers are essentially refined salts and will naturally lower the pH (if that is indeed the issue) when you fertilize. Check the pH of any solution before and after you add ferts. with a digital meter. Use a product such as "ph Up" to raise or "pH down" to lower. I personally rarely have use of ph down as my tap water is at 7.1 and after adding ferts it goes to between 6.2-6.7 so I usually have to add tiny amounts of pH up in most cases. I also check the runoff on regular waterings to make sure the dolomitic lime I added is doing its job as a buffer. Wild fluctuations in pH can cause stress and ultimately lower yields so do these adjustments gradually.
