best light timing for cloning 18-6 or 24?

how long do you stay 12/12 after budding commences?

Many thanks in advance for lighting my bulb...

I also clone with 24 hour a day lights on, I also veg 24. You flower with 12 on 12 off until the day you cut your plants down.

I was thinking of going 18-6 somewhere near the end so I can begin to share the room sooner with new borns...no good?

I cloned hundreds of plants with just using a photoperiod of 18/6 with monumental success. When you are in the flowering stage, keep your lights on a 12/12 photoperiod till they are finished. I have seen my othe friends modify the photoperiod for instance the last few weeks prior to harvest to switch the photoperiod to a 8/16. They claim it helped their harvest but who knows without a controlled study to verify their claim it is just basically what they think occured.

if you look down a scope 30 - 60 magnification you will see litte glass type bulbs on bud which start clear then go cloudy and turn amber, light to dark, when bout 50 percent are amber is a good time, will do some pics for you later, you will prob have found some pics on this site b 4 i get time.

I'm beginning to fear the girls will out grow the grow. It stands about 5'. The light takes up room too. Think pruning the faster growing branches will keep them on the short side? Your thoughts plesae...

when you clone, do they already have preflowes showing? Just asking because jorge cervantes says to never flower before preflowers show and that plants kept under light 24 hr a day took significantly longer to show preflowers. I have some 18 inch plants I want to flower but no preflowers are showing.
