I just changed the lights to 12/12 recently and my girl is drinking almost 1/2 gallon a day from bucket. do i fill to line with water or nutrient mix?? second, she's starting to lean. in soil i tie em to a stick, what do you do in a 5 gal bucket?? please all input will be greatly appreciated.....

There is no need to add back daily. I start with 5gal and change when it gets down to about 1-1/2 gallons. The plants take different amounts of different elements at different times leaving behind what they dont need. When u add back u are adding more of what they dont need and getting false ppm readings. As for support check out my thread, ez dwc, and u will see the easiest way to support plants and be able to access thebucket.

if your plants are drinking that much i would suggest regular water for the most part and add fresh nutes every 2-3 fills ups or at a full res change. like superstoner1 said, if you keep adding nutrients every time you will get false readings on ppm and the plant will have excess in some nutrients which could be damaging to it.

good luck m

I top up the water every couple of days, and add nutes when the PPM gets low.

To straighten a plant. I'll physicaly straighten it while tapping/slapping/shaking the net pot, and if I'm lucky the plant will stay there. You can also tie it in place.
Or if it just leans too hard, a brick against the stalk will hold it up.

Good luck
