2 questions about harvesting (a hermie)

So, to ppl who saw my previous threads will know, my plant hermied on me. Know I know alot of ppl will say just chuck it, but I wanna see this through.

So first, is harvesting a hermie, the same as a pure female. What about the balls, and pollen. It is situated between the flowers, so will it dry just fine? Or should I trim then off before drying? Will it be poison (lol) or spoil the flowers?

Secondly, when is the earliest one can chop? I dont like that whole full body stone, so I would rather harvest a bit early and get more of a buzzed feeling. Dont mind losing potency.

Cut off the balls ..harvest it when it's ready if you want a head high grow Sativa dominant strains indica for a more groggy couch lock body high!

You can pluck the flower petals out of the sack with tweezers.I would only do it if the sacks had crystals on them I dont think it will bother you if you smoke pollen unless you have allergies.

It is random bag seeds, but by the looks of it, it might be indica, or indica dominant. I know its not an exact science, and some ppl say its complete BS, but others say earlier harvest of indica takes away some of the couch lock?

First of all, there is no difference in harvesting a hermie vs. a true lady. AFTER harvest, during trim, you can remove the nanners that are visible and accessible, and ignore the rest. But don't do it BEFORE harvest; it will only cause the plant to produce more.

Whether it is time to harvest is a matter of looking closely at the trichs and hairs. If you want less potency for some reason, then you'll cure for less time, not grow for less time.

trich color isn't nonsense at all lol, if u have indica chop when trichs are clear for the most heady that strain can produce offers. and u will grow for less time when theyre clear or cloudy than waiting for amber by about a week -ten days later

It is non sense, all you get from chopping an Indica early is a premature, less potent bud. Yes if you cut your plant early, you will grow for a shorter time...

I'm still laughing at "chop when trichs are clear". Yea if you like decreased yield, potency and don't care about terpenes.

I think most of us would consider it "nonsense" to intentionally end up with a less potent, premature bud. SO, I suppose the debate is about one's definition of "nonsense," rather than a debate about what happens if you don't properly observe trichomes.

The non sense part IMO is trying to pull a couch lock high off Sativas by running them even longer then normal or a head high from Indicas by chopping early.

Grow the appropriate plant for the effects you want.

Yea sounds like a preference thing to me "it's not about how much u get stoned it's about how u want that stone to effect u" couch lock or a keep busy buzz only my opinion.
