2 Problems, +rep for help

what you have to measure is the ph of the runoff that will tell you the actuall ph the plant is in.and how to adjust. 6.2 to 6.3 is a ideal ph for most strains some like it a tad lower some a tad higher.you will know when they are happy. The clones i take have not rooted.....I would consider using another method trying to root in soil takes longer and is harder to do.if the humidity in the room is that high that is also a problem you are vaunarable to stunted growth powdery mildew mold etc.......while developing roots that kind of humidity is in fact needed. once roots are developed then temp, low humidity, and good air flow all are vital compontens to a healthy cannabis plant....... be well. grow on...

I read 2 book and I don't know how many people I spoke to about it, and no one ever told me that. Thanks for that info, I'll have to check it tommorow when I water. Also, I'm using distilled water, that's not going to throw off the reading, will it?

I don't know if they're rooted or not. I guess the one with the nute burns has to be rooted other wise how did it get nute burns, right?

I was thinking of trying to root in water, but I coudn't find anyone that could tell me if I can root them in the dark. And if I can't root in the dark, then what exactly is indirect light? I really don't understand that term.

Nah, the room humidity is 20%. That's why I tried so hard to get the humidity up hi for my cloning station. I'm using hydrogen peroxide to help prevent mold/mildew while there in the high humidity.

And guess who has mites. I clipped the one leaf with the nute burns and looked real good. The white spots on the top had matching white bumps underneath. They didn't move when I touched them with my clippers, they looked more like eggs. So I clipped the lowest leaf I could find with white dots and same thing. The third leaf I clipped had 2 little black dots along with the white ones. When I touched one with the clippers it started moving.

I put the leaves in a cup and filled it with water. The black dot was floating and kind of looked like a tiny little lint ball. Are those spider mites or is there a way to tell?

Can I get rid of mites with 10.0 UVB Reptile bulbs or do I have to spray?

And do mites bite people or am I just getting itchy because I now know they're around? lol

indirect light means like a good floro. dosent have to be so strong. remember you want your cut putting energy into making roots not verticall growth. just search cloning and youll get all the info you need theres just so much
any way heres a peek at my garden

Dam, I need the fluoros to veg these for a while so I can't turn any off, I have four 32w 4' tubes, I'm sure that would be too much on exposed roots in water rooting. I guess I'll have to stick with dirt for a while, I really don't like cubes. I'm not comfortable enough with watering the smaller plants yet.

Nice plants btw, nice and frosty. Do you use UVB or is that just good genetics?

could also be thrips. same treatment... neem oil every 3 days for a month along with hot shots no pest strips and they will be gone.mites are parasites but a shower will get them all off you. they survive better in the garden and really just want a ride from you to another plant.

Cool, thanks. I'm gonna try that Mite X first though since I have it and all the stores are closed. I'll have to buy a heater tommorow so I can let the lights go off on a set schedule, which I'll need to do to treat since Mite X is an oil.

I gotta shut off the bedroom from the outside air, turn on the heat in there, and take a shower. Man my skin is crawling. lol

Looks like I'm gonna be up for a while. I'll be back in a bit.

Thanks again man, and have a good night.
