Has anyone tried this method? and if so did you get the same results?(2-1/4 pounds dried per 1000 HPS)----The method is simple------
1000 watts over 36 square feet
9#----7 gallon containers
veg till plants are 24 " tall
at 3 weeks of flower lollipop everything from from 1/2 way down.
co2 @ 1800ppms
dehumidifier
no venting in or out
84 deg temp
tomato cage around plants

Please post any info or ideas.

The weird thing is that he is getting those size yields from only 27 watts per square foot???---The reason I put the ???'s is that 27WPF seems very weak to me but that's what he says:?. I have grown fairly dense buds with good weight at 37.5 watts per square feet but the lights were air cooled and right on top of the plants. Just seems a little weird or is it just me??????.

I went by the gram/watt theory, didn't really think about wpf.

Where in optimal conditions you can produce roughly 1gram/watt

4-oz per plant (112 grams) x 9 plants = 1008 grams
He got a little over but he uses the full line of AN

27wpf does seem a bit low but i'm sure he does have optimal conditions.

I wanted to try it out on my next grow but gonna get a 600w instead of a 1000w for the new room i'm building.
I'd still like to try to get as close as I can to 600 gram though.

Edit: Maybe i'll start ~The 1+ program~ :D

They run their co2 ppms at 1800. I did see the buds he was showing--He had three buds the size of a mans upper leg. It takes a lot of power to run a room like that-One of the 2 plus guys was using 2# 9.5 amp dehumidifiers and a 11amp A/C in a 10'x12' room. With 6# 600's and a 12' fan for carbon scrubbing. Grower said he was running 75amps with lights on and 20amps with lights off. That's a lot of juice!!! The small CFL grows look a lot more appealing after seeing that:hump:.
