2 Plants 1 Pot Experiment

So I wanted to do an experiment to see what would happen. Planted 2 in the same pot. One turned out to be female, the other male. I will now cut the male, but I was wondering if anyone knows, will the dead roots of the male plant harm my female plant as they begin to decompose? Or do you think she'll be fine for another 4-5 months? Or will this decomposition of roots somehow help her? My guess is that the rotting roots will slow her down, but wont kill her. Any thoughts or tips would be appreciated, im pretty new to this. Thanks in advance

This really depends on your gardening style. If your growing organically in proper soil then yes no problem. If not.... not so sure. Although some enzymes would help in this case.

Im using fox farm ocean forest mixed with fox farm light warrior, also using fox farm nutes. Well, I havn't started using the nutes yet but I will soon most likely.

I cut the male, within a couple hours the female seemed to noticeably perk up based on the last picture.

one time i had 2 clones and only room for one pot. put both same size in the pot. within 2 weeks one overpowered the other in siZE while the other turned weaker so I cut the weak one and all ended well.

Maybe Fox Farm Root Drench could help strengthen the roots? Ive never tried it, but it's advertised to contain beneficial enzymes
