The past week or so, I've been putting them out late morning until about 6 or 7 P.M. when I bring them back into the closet, but when I flip, they are going to stay outside except for when I get rain, like is predicted here in the next few days.
I'm hoping with all the LST'ing, I can keep them short and stout, no more than 4' or 5' high.
I got nosy neighbors, LOL

OK, this week's update........
I've been putting them out for about 7 hrs/ day and they love it.
I am having to adjust and add string every couple days.
Here's the Sour D at 49 days of veg, LOL.
I am thinking to put it outside for good in a couple days, as soon as this damn rain quits.May4SD_zps60b06f71.jpgMay4SD_zpsd9f05b3f.jpgMay4SDlow_zps918cc0c3.jpgMay4SDclose_zps2bc76747.jpg

Here's the Purple Kush........
She looks kinda droopy because I should have watered last night, but didn't do it until about 1/2 hr. before pics were taken.May4PurpleKush_zps7dfe5f38.jpgMay4PK_zps7b88ffab.jpgMay4PKclose_zps5ea03d80.jpg
And here's the 3 that I was goofing around and saved from my bagseed last time.:lol:transplantedto2litermarch7_zpsec5f6d9c.jpg
I transplanted them into the 1 1/2 gal. bucket, and am going to leave them there, also going outside.May4Bagseed_zps9a3a6f29.jpgMay4bagseedclones_zpsc004fa3c.jpgMay4Bagseedstems_zps1112d9a2.jpg

nice job on the training, but think you guys maybe over doing it. unless you're very limited head space, there's no need to keep them tied down, at least not all the stems. once you achieve an even canopy, free them from their bondage. from that point on, only tie down the branches that keeps showing the apical dominance and once the rest of the mains catch up, release and reapply when necessary.

Thanks, but even though I'm going outside to flower, I'm trying to keep a short wide bush, hoping to finish under 5' tall including the pot, and I'm still vegging.

This :??: must had been asked while I had to leave? I take the girls outside and mix them in withmy tomato's for a few hours & set them on the porch, like you do bro, just to get them get use to the light / intensity! A lot of people call it "hardening" off. It just gets the plants use to where they where indoors under artificial lights, use to the sun, and it hardens the plants tissues, and makes the plants stronger, and not so tender is all.. "art
Good question man.
It's not so much the hours, but the intensity of the light.
I usually just put mine out for a few hours in the morning for about 2 days, then just leave them out.

Think of it like if your woman woke you up, and drug you outside and made you open your eyes right away.
It just takes a few to get used to it, then you stop squinting.

Hell yeah! I got damn "spider mites" 1 yr doing this aswell bro! But honestly, there's really no other way to "harden" the girls off, unless you have enough "windows" to sit then infront of, and idk if you would want a ton of ladies sitting out all around the house in front of all your windows! Lol....
I now just take some "rosemarry" and sprinkle alittle around the base of mine now before sitting them on the porch to harden them off, and from the little bit of time last yr I did this, it seemed to work really well!! ;)

Yeah don't kill it for a few more days. Remember when I thought my girl was a hermi?

Turned out she was just a dirty skank with an ingrown pube hair.

You sent a GDP, which was the one I really wanted, but it didn't sprout, then the MP, and the Purple Kush I've got going now.
