2 months from seed still on 18/6. See pistal preflower. Then a leafs from preflower?

So ive grown from seed 9th node ... Showed its a female.... Then the next node ..one side female... Then what looks like the male claw..... So i assumed its a hermie....so i wait just to make sure..... But the claw turns into a leaf?? It is clearly NOT a ball but new branch growth..... In all the years of growing ive never experienced this.... Can anyone explain?

Genetics my friend I had a querkle and Pineapple Express that both on the seed runs shot leaves out of branch intersections where little calx would be. Didn't affect my plant at all I just kept an eye on it to make sure nothing went south. It was kinda cool to see little nug where branches met the main stem.

This happened to me too on my green crack this year, im going to go snap a picture right now

Here it is, there is another one on the other side of the branch also.. Has anyone really noticed that the preflowers alternate on opposite sides of the plant until it matures more?

Yep just genetic anomaly I call it. Although it is a little weird when u first run across one.

All this damn crossbreeding, that's what it is.

I'm just glad it didn't affect the plant I had that issue with as I really enjoyed it

Yep.. I think we're all just waiting for the super ridiculously potent genetic anomaly to come along.

Yep, nothing but pistils so far.. just started showing signs of flower stage and all I have so far is pre flowers and that notorious star shape on each shoot.
