Ok, so heres the deal. I have a rubbermaid tub grow box and I have 4 plants in it. 2 of them are bagseed that Im trying toi learn lst with and the other 2 are lowryders. The two lowryders have started to flower and are growing rapidly but the dilema is whether or not to keep them both because one is male. Should I consider myself lucky to have a male and let them do thier thing so I can keep the seeds or should I just yank the little bugger and toss him out the window? What would some of you do if you were in my situation. I really like the way the lowryders are growing and wouldnt mind having a few hundred seeds??

El Dude,

If you had another spot to put the Little Dude and let him do his thing and then you can get his Pollen, Then with a ziplock bag and a Q-tip you could pollinate what ever bud spots you have. If you would keep him where he is at, it is a good chance that you will pollinate the other plants even if they are not in the flowering stage, because the pollen is in the area and it doesn't take much at all, just a little dust go's a long ways.

is the other lowryder a female or unknown yet...cause instead of letting the male pollenate the rest of your group just to get seeds make the other lowryder your mother plant then you can just clone rather then starting from seed again...like toker said place the male by itself or outside let it pollenate then jus pollenate the bagseeds to create new strain...all personal preference ya know

Trying to collect pollen sounds like it will be the best option for me. I have 8 more seeds in holding so I suppose I could save the pollen for another day. As for cloning, I believe that is out of the picture being that the lowryder is an auto flower strain and there is only like 2 weeks veg time then they flower by age not by light cycle? Hes growing at an alarming rate now so I believe Im going to move him tomorrow morning. Oh and to answer about the other LR, she is most definately a she. :D Less than 2 inches tall and already forming a nice kola bud with some fresh pube hairs! Lol! I really like the way they progress so you can imagine why I was a bit excited to find a male. Had it been a bag seed it would have just been second nature to yank it and toss it.
