2 42w CFL on single clone- first grow

Very nice grow considering only 4 bulbs were used. Your plant is very healthy looking and big. Great stuff

thanks for lookin mystic... what do you think that yellowing could be on that on part...do you think that it could be because on that side is where my power strip and a fan is at. the rest look pretty healthy....i want to hang two more extension cords on the sides of the plant and maybe put my 2 42w on the sides of the plant to try and thicken up the middle to lower part and hope to squeeze out some more for a bigger yield...what does everyone think about that? the lights on the side thing..

Im gonna post a few pics of 2 of her sisters later today or tomorrow so we can compare.

hey guys,
the nugs are starting to get nice and thick. i also see a bunch of new spots where some long hairs are forming and little buds are starting. so does anyone have an estimate on my yield. just an est. obviously because of the many variables. heres my set up.

Lights: 2- 42w cfl's (not sure of the lumens they put out, prolly could easily be searched, there from walmart.
2-68w cfl's that put out 4200 lumens a piece.
so a total of 220 cfl watts.

Nutes: i didnt use any nutes for veg because it was a clone and didnt look to good in the begging, i didnt have access to any good ones, and mostly cuz i didnt really kno shit about nutes..and still dont know too much but im getting there. now i am using mg bloom booster 15-30-15. And im still not sure what kind of nutes im goin to switch to for the end of flow. i still need some help on that so feel free to help me out guys.

So what do you guys think is a good nute for the ending stages of flow (at least what NPK range). And at how many weeks into flow should i switch the nutes.

Just a few ques i have that i need u guys to help me out with.

sup guys, so today i noticed for the first time some of the white hairs growing on the buds are turning red, and the buds are getting big. the plants about 32in tall and about 24in wide

So i have a few leafs on the top of the plant under the buds that are very long skinny leaves. much more then the other. is that normal? also some of my leaves are lookin weird on the outside becuase the plant some of the leaves are touching the walls and doors now.

I get to water again tomorrow with nutes for the third time total. i am still going to use the 15-30-15 this time and just increase the dosage a little. I am prolly going to use these 15-30-15 nutes one more time after tommorrow. i am going to try and find some big bud to finish up flowering with. what do you guys think about that? anyone kno where i can find some? thanks guys. heres the pics

Looking great my man. That plant is straight up sativa. Looking real good but about the big bud question only place I've seen it is at my hydro store. Not saying that walmart,home depot wont have it but just never seen it there.

thanks for the reply mystic...i was also lookin at the fox farms bb. what do you think about that stuff? i am really thinking about ordering some of that shit. looks a little too concentrated tho. idk i got some more nute research to do. thanks for the look...the buds are getting there. cant wait till im reading and asking questions about harvesting and trimming...mmmm...cant wait...

so tonight i watered. i have been watering every 3 days the whole grow. and i have been using 4 20oz bottles and the water usually that goes into the tray in the bottom soaks right back up with in a few mins.. but tonight when i watered the same amount, there is still some water in the tray 2 hours later. is this too much water??? is it going to be over watered??? i havent monitered the tray level the whole grow but just recently started to the last 2-3 waters. i guess i will just have to see what they look like tom. whats the first signs of over watering? drooping leafs right?

First off pardon my spelling.

Over watering will cause the leafs to drop. Also, if using tap water be sure to let it sit out uncovered to allow the chlorine to evaporate. Ive heard that leaf curling can be caused by chlorine. Ive always allowed the soil to get dry the first inch down during flowering before watering. Its good that some water runs off. About 20% should run out to ensure that the soil is flushed. Also I noticed that you dont have alot of light at the sides of your ladies. A couple of CFLs on the sides or on the floor would be good, more light is never enough. Also make sure your using CFL in the 2700K for flowering. Your girls durring flowering will benifit with this color temp.

hey man, thanks for looking. ya ive been using distelled so there shouldnt be a problem in that area. i have been meaning to get some more cfls and put them on the sides, just been really busy...thanks man...

o and the 68w's are 2700k im not sure about the 42's

so i checked her out tonight and thank god no signs of over water.... she looks like she loveed the nutes. i gave her about 3/4 rec dosage. the nugs are starting to fill in nicely now, and there is some redish pinkish hairs forming on them too. im still looking for some nutes to finish flowering with. any recs and sites to find them?

hey guys, today i watered she was real light when i lifted her and was dry as far down as i could feel. i am prolly going to be using the bloom booster for about 2-3 more times until i can get some big bud.

the temps in there have been staying between 76-84, and the leafs are looking good. i hope the plant doesnt grow much more because the lights are about as far up as they can go. but the lights are about 2in away and the plant have any grown like an inch in the last week.

the buds are looking great. alot of trichs starting to form on the leafs and the hairs.

i heard that the nugs grow the most between weeks 4-8. and today is exactly 4 weeks. so i am excited to see whats gonna happen. should be good.

let me get some comments, id like to know what u guys think of her.

there isnt a set date for harvest. just going to get a microscope and let the tichs get about 70% amber. thats how ill decide when to harvest. im hoping for a decent yield, and ill be sure to let u guys know my weights i get wet and dry. the mother of my plant just finished not long ago, so im looking forward to comparing the smoke and see how it differs.

hey all, sunday i watered with the bloom booster nutes still... i really need to get some bb so they can get nice and fat.

the nugs are starting to get big. the main cola is about 8 inches long already and the colas around it are getting close to that. its great. i cant wait till i have to go and buy a microscope so i can look at the trichs. im hoping for 70percent amber. lets see if i can wait that long...ill update and put up some new pics tonight. thanks for looking guys. any feedback would be awesome.

hey guys. whats up. so today i checked her out and she looked like she grew so much since i saw her last night. the colas are def starting to get thick and fat. and the plant hasnt grown vertically that i can tell in days. and all the growing is focused on the nugs. there are alot of brown and orange hairs all over them. i have stopped watering every 3 days because i think i over watered a little 3 waterings ago when i posted about it. now im just lifting the plant cuz i know how it feels when its dry. and its about every 3 or 4 days ive been watering. but i think this is a better idea. k well heres some picsssss let me know guys. peace
