would probably kill them but I have seen this done with apple and peach trees. This wouldnt mean a new strain just a double plant that produces both buds for either plant but not a mixed bud.

IT would not mean a new strain. Grafting from what I understand only alters the host plant and not its offspring (I could be wrong but it makes sense) Grafting is not a change in the DNA of the strain just of that one particular plant.

Can anyone confirm or disprove this?

Grafting merely created and artificial chimera, an single organism with two or mor differnt genetypes of cells. Whatever particular genotype formed the flower bud is the genotype that will contribute to the seed.

Plus I've said it before, hemp plants don't have a very active vascular cambium and are difficult to graft.

ya, what they said. It would be like cutting off someones arm and sewing it on your body. Just a transplant. Happy Growing
