maybe Its time to mess around with 3w diodes, I have been thinking about the Cree or Vero cobs, but damn!

Yeah...fits in nice...

Specs: 10 x Cree xml2 T4 4200k's
10 x Cree xml2 T4 3000k's
8 x Cree xte Royal blues

All on stars

Drivers: 20 x white Cree's on 600ma driver
8 x Royal blues on 700ma driver

So they are run quite soft and thermal pasted onto a 6mm think piece of aluminium which is custom cut to fit the roof of my PC case...so all and all it jutz down about 10mm from the ceiling of the case....which gives me plenty of room to grow.

Barely getz hot...

Total wattage is: 48.8w at plug

$120 for LED's....free heatsink and i had the drivers already...

Love me some Kapton...makes for easy soldering..
