Take a picture of where you fimmed
FIM stands for Fuck I Missed so just by the name you can guess it’s easy to mess up

Fimming is difficult to get right for some people. I can’t tell if it was done right from those pictures. I just top my plants, because I don’t see any benefit with fimming over topping.

It’s still too early in the season for them to be outside. They will go into flower early and then have to reveg when the days get longer.
Wrong .... maybe.
If you started your seeds outside 5 weeks ago you should be fine. If you have your plants under lights for more than 15 hours a day, then move them.outside, (clones) then YES, you take a chance on them flowering early on you.

Thanks for this! I wasn’t aware you could plant them outside that early from seed, so that is good to know. It’s too cold where I live to do that, but it will help prevent me from giving out wrong information to those in warmer climates.

Thos is 6 weeks from seed Its been s week since fimmed not sure if didnit right
It looks like you may have cut them too high. The harest thing about learning to FIM, IMO, is that it's very diifficult to find any good videos, or even guides, that show anything other than where to cut. I just tried to find some pictures to show you what to expect to see with a properly fimmed plant and I couldn't find anything. The best way I can explain it is that, if it is done right, you should start seeing some weird twisted leaves that emerge, and you should also see some additional shoots grow from where you cut the plant.

I never FIM, I super crop my plants. Use real soil and not your native soil. I suggest Kellogg's Patio plus from Lowes or Home Depot
