this is my first time so any help would be appreciated before i spend my money finishing the room how it is designed in the pictures. the room is 41 inch wide x 31 inch deep by 63 inch tall. i will have 1 600 watt hps/mh fixture suspended from adjustable cord so i can adjust the height. the fixture will have a 6 inch duct fan blowing air on it then out a 6 inch 90 (pointed up towards the ceiling) for exhaust. the cieling exhaust opening is a 12 x 6 inch with a 6 inch duct going into carbon filter than 6 inch inline fan (400 cfm) then ducted out my roof. my intake is a 12 x 6 inch opening with a 6 inch duct fan blowing new air in from my garage. i will have 2 12 inch oscillating fans mounted on each side wall to move air around, create wind inside the room. the walls in the room are double drywalled with 5/8 drywall then mudded and painted white for reflection. i will be growing 6-10 plants in 5 gallon buckets (depending how many i can fit). Let me know what you think and what suggestions you have as this is my first time and i want it to come out right.

ok i took the time to read and your ventalation sounds awesome.i think you can over do it with wind as you will have a reasonable draft from your inlet and exhaust.so try 1 oscillating fan first.if your putting 6-10 plants in dont let them get over 6-8 inches tall before you turn back to 12/12 hours light as they will stretch a lot,all depending on the strain, you can always pull a couple out and finish them outside.for your first go i recommend you hand water with perlite or coco(80% perlite,20% vermiculite is good as there is no organic matter like coco peat which can attract nasty insects like scaridfly) as media and saucers underneath.i still do this as my results have been better with this method.making the nutrient up fresh every day will ensure the ph is right and your plants are not disturbing the element ratio.(not sucking more potassium leaving a higher nitrogen level. e.t.c)and cleanliness is so important.with your nutrient always go under recommended usage, around 75%.i get better results this way,i dont care what anyone says.ive been doin indoor now for 13-14yrs and these are the tricks ive learnt through lots of research and fuck ups
finally have you got a good strain to work with?? VENTILATION,PH,CLEANLINESS!!!
just keep it simple man and you cant go wrong. any questions just ask

I would recommend 3 gallon buckets the 5 gallon will end up making your plants soo huge they wont have room to breathe

true,im an aussie and im thinking in litres.whats 5 litres in gallons?? 1.5??? anyway 5-7 litres would probably be sufficient for some small ones.
