Thanks man. That helps. And yes i was looking for a pat on the back. I apologize for any disrespect. You got it tho. Thank you!
Here is trichome production 9 days into flowering.
Hows it looking people?
Flowki, i forgot to mention i have 30 years landscaping/horticulture under my belt. Yes, it is first grow but i attempted once b4. 30 years ago. Got them to flowering and had to stop. WEBSITE DOES NOT SUK IM A BIG BABY
Nothing like a fresh start ;].

As far as I can see you've done a good job in terms of producing a healthy plant, really can't knock it. The only possible avenues to look into is light type, perhaps plant count too. More plants veg quicker as you'd know, it's also safer in that lose one plant to a genetic/environment factor you have others to soften the blow. In terms of lighting it may well be that swapping the t5 for a cmh is about all you'd need to do. I don't know much about the leds you are using but purple lights have generally had a bad rep for quite a while now. If that were to be true then you may have to look into alternitives later down the line if the drawback of those purple leds are not tolerable. Cobs and quantum boards seem to be the go to lighting choices these days, budget issues aside.

Given your horticultural background and being organic, it would be worth hitting the organic section here on the chance you'll learn something applicable to indoor growing. Perhaps keep an open mind on the differences between organic grown plants and synthetic. I don't know if it's growing skill issues but their seems to be a clear weight advantage in growing synthetically. Not that I'm suggesting you to go synthetic, just that if you were unaware of the yield differences it's a heads up in not getting disheartened.

I don't actually know how true it is that synthetic yields more than organic, but I get the feeling the complexities of organics and chance to get it wrong magnify what ever truth is in it. Do you have any experience on this?.

No, i dont. But i know i can taste earth. I can tell ceramic. Earth tastes better. I do believe you could get more syntheticly and i may play with it down the road. As far as more plants, i forrest gumped my way into a 4ft wide 3ft tall plant in an 4×8 tent.sooo i have 3 NL autos im playing with. Im out of room. I just ran my style with 25 years of thinking and thats what i got. 2 weeks seedling, 6weeks veg at 20 hours light, now in 12 hours for 2 weeks today. Im running 2 California light works solar storm 220 full spectrum on top. 2 600 phlizon led on sides along with 1 2ft 8 bulb t5 on side. I rotate plant religiously. The autos have 900watt cob on top and a 4ft 8 bulb t5 on side. I have t5s for veg and end of flower but they seem to not like it when i turn them off so i leave them. I have 2 6" fans 1 intake 1 exhaust. Multiple 6 small fans rotating air in tent. Im looking at 2 clw 1100 with i think cfls already on them. Then the room will be ready. Thanks alot man. Any input is greatly appreciated!!

Thats awesome!! I will be ready for that in about 6 more weeks. By reading, she flowers for 56-60 days. I plan on harvesting a little milky and the rest amber? Thats what research has taught me. I like growing roots but would like some to go get supplies, lol!!

I don't know a great deal about the lights you are using, aside from inefficiency issues with cfls, but I'll leave it up to you to research things for long term use. The organic thing is a tough one. I guess the best you can do is run a strain a few times to get an idea for the yield. If it's a known strain you will be able to compare yields with other growers and then decide if strictly organic is working out for you. However your lighting choice may also play a role in end yield and complicate comparisons. You may also want to consider W of lighting for gram of end dry weight, of mature bud only. It's a fickle subject but lets say you were using 1k of lighting yet only get 500g mature bud in return, it's likely no worth it unless the strain is something special; nobody has it, everybody wants it. That is assuming organic or lighting is not playing a part in the low yield. You can have too much light indoor, although many may disagree. With the veg and flower times theirs a kind of deminishing return point where you can't grow a plant with enough budding structure to turn the extra light into dry weight (lack of light penetration plays a role). Autos don't typically yield so well, although I recall seing one grower who began getting some damn good results. If you are going for yield you may want to verge on the side of caution and avoid them in future, as most seem to not do so well.

With that in mind, most organic growers suggest that the quality of their bud, taste etc, is superior. I won't make claims either way, they may be bias, or not. It's an avenue for you to look into if quality ranks higher than yield. Some would argue quality/yield go hand in hand and strain dictates all. I tend not to believe that as it indirectly infers that lighting choice thus spectrum plays no role, only W of intensity. That would mean you should be able to flower top shelf green with only blue spectrum, that appears to be false by all accounts, so spectrum clearly pays a role, as does intensity and spread (also growing medium no doubt). I'm just telling you this as a bit of guidance since some of the lighting/etc topics around here have ''some'' heated disagreements with heavily bias or ego invested views. Take them all with a pinch of salt til you've read enough variety to make some kind of balanced choice.

Btw, hit reply to posts so that we get a notification of it. Good luck.

I've seen your set-up/pics and made a comment regardless of that. Your plant looks good.

You want to show your plants off, I get it, but when nobody took interest (made harder by the fact you asked no questions to help people engage) your comment was impolite. People don't just line up here waiting to pat new growers on the back for having green plants. You could have took the angle that nobody replied to your post simply because what you were posting may have been boring. Maybe you bump the topic with a polite ''any comments guys''. If you got no response to that you would perhaps take it on board that your OP was in-fact boring and moved on (not saying it is). What you did instead, was called the site shit because how could it be good when it didn't take interest in your grow. I like this site so perhaps I got offended, but I apologise for that, partly with the explanation of why I posted such a vague comment.
Here is middle week 3. I think there may be white clear bugs all over buds and bud fan leaves...lolView attachment 4420790View attachment 4420791View attachment 4420792View attachment 4420793
Those look pretty solid for 3aeeks ...

Yah, i couldnt be happier. I love her and she is living back. Thanks man
Looking good!
Thanks!!

Harvest report. 12 oz dried. 5 lbs butter that is sleepy. Oh yah, its Gorilla Glue #4 not chocolate kush. It was bag seed and the strain was in question for the start. I knew it was indica. Great Christmas!! I have a lava cake, 2 lemon thunder and 6 northern lights going now. Going to clone lava cake. Thanks for all the great advice and look forward to more!! Merry Christmas!!
