1st "real" grow.. Advise from experienced ppl appreciated

I was tying the buds up but its hard to rearrange the grow room when everything is all tied up, so I let it down, and besides according to the breeders this plant should have finished last Saturday .. that's another reason I untied it, I was getting ready to harvest . But with new pistols popping out everyday it seems like this might take a while.. I even thought maybe I should feed again since my plant is still very much alive , but I know .. it will leave a harsh taste. So no nutes. And about the ps3.. do it !!! I go hard with Madden, NBA live and call of duty ... I kinda fell back from the Madden and NBA live this year tho. They didn't make an NBA live and I refused to convert to NBA2k (I kno, I'm stubburn) and the Madden I never bought. This year I was spending all my extra cash on grow supplies , seeds etc. But I'm gonna make the comeback, I'm a true "Madden-head". But basketball idk, everybody converted to NBA2k and I just won't. I don't care who tries to convince me. But if nbalive comes back out with a quality product ill b back on it.. and as far as call of duty goes. I'm a beast !!! I got hooked on it last year with black ops , and now its just outta control now that I have modern warefare 3, and I will be getting the new black ops 2 aswell .. cod , I'm on it all the time ... So hmu when u get ur sh*t.

Still never weighed it.. imma borrow somebodies scale today so I can find out... It's too late for the glp . I already smoked 60% of that lol.. but the Ww is untouched and the cotton candy wasn't harvested yet so we will find out both of those

Wassup Montana.. yea the cure is def a necessity, idk how ppl can smoke uncured bud.. it tastes like ass (not that I know what ass tastes like lol) but its the difference between bud that is horrible tasting and grade A stuff. U could prob have the same bud , some cured some uncured and I bet nobody would ever think its the same bud .. the difference can b that much... Yea I like the way sativas yield but I'm not as patient as u .. I'm in week 9 right now and its killing me, I want to chop so bad!!! But I can look at my plant and tell its just not ready..idk how people could ever wait 15-16 weeks for sativas tho, if I didn't already harvest my Ww I would have chopped the cc down , but since I have chronic I can try and b a little more patient, idk if I can wait more than another 7 days tho

See that other plant you have on the youtube is getting there and still has a few weeks you said 9 weeks at the video is that from the switch or from the start with like after the stretch like your other small plant on the video that looks to be like what 3 to 4 weeks from the switch?

Sims go over to the organic section to the oldschool organics by subcool and check out the TGA by others and some of the posts by subcool he has alot of stickys over there you can learn alot from him i love his weed nerd show i think you would too its on youtube the show. check it out some of the plants and strains its like bud porn.

yea my cotton candy is nine weeks from the 12/12 switch, not since I saw bud devrlopement.. and if i remember right I think there was a debate on this thread where u were arguing that the flower period begins at the bud developement not when the lights are switched to 12/12.. u were prob right, but that would mean that my other plants were harvested early... And they only really had 7 or 8 weeks to flower.. idk, maybe my glp was early , but if u saw my Ww at what I refered to as week 8 (8 weeks from 12/12 switch) it looked pretty finished , it didn't look like it needed any more time. So I still don't know.. I know see y ppl say there is no set flower time. U just have to look at ur plants and see when they're ready

In reference to your day counting.

People get it confused because breeder's usually base flowering time off of an already mature plant.

If you flower a seedling prior to being mature, it can sometimes take longer to flower than the advertised breeding time.

However you rarely run into that problem with fully mature plants, clones, or seedlings that have vegged to the point of showing sex.

Most of not all strains will show sex while still in veg after vegging for a certain period of time. That time varies by strain however.

Very true.. didn't think of that, my glp showed sex before 12/12 was initiated.. and began to flower almost instantly after 12/12

Alright New question.. my cc is approaching what I'm going to call week 10 of flower, the cc was supposed to be finished ay day 65 of flower according to breeders. But as I looked my plant a few mins ago I'm thinking it looks like it has atleast another week or 2 , maybe even 3.. I say 3 because it seems like more and more white pistols pop up and hardly any are turning colors anymore.(this is the cola I'm talking about.. ironically the lower branches look finished for the most part) but um thinking its taking so long because I haven't fed it anything besides molassas for the past 3+ weeks . And I haven't even been feeding molassas recently. For like the last 2 weeks I've only given her water. So the logic behind this is that she is hungry and needs food to keep producing fruit (bud). Should I feed for a week or two and then flush before harvest??

And I veged my plants for 40 days, do u think that there is a chance my plants were all not mature after a 40 day veg?? If so how many days would it take to almost insure maturity, 60 days??

I flushed mine with nutes the last week everyother day,Till the bottem was somewhat burnt,BUT THATS JUST ME Id flush nutes or water whatever YOU like.

I consider a plant mature when it shows sex on its own in veg..

Like i said it varies by strain..

ALso breeders dont always take in to account growing style, medium, or phenotypes when they give a set time.

If a strain isnt stabilized there can be huge variances in flowering times. Even among the same batch of seeds

ok but I heard some strains dont show sex until 12/12 is initiated . Are they not mature? And I believe that the conditions will determine if plants will show sex in circumstances .. i took clones in the beginning of April. They are all huge now, but I gave them to my friend , he is veging them outside. None of them have shown sex! Even my glp which showed sex at about a lil over a month indoors has not shown sex . And it had been veging for atleast 2 months. And that's just since they rooted . I'm not counting how old the mother plant is that they were cut from... So y does my glp show sex at 1 Month indoors under 18 hours of light. But a clone of the same plant will not and at this point it is atleast 3 months old , and it is outdoors right now (idk how many hrs of light it is recieving but it is atleast 14 a day)

Do you have pics of said plant. I find it hard to believe it doesnt have ANY preflowers.

Its all tricky man, there is no set schedule, or set anything for this plant. There are just too many variations at play, that at this point we can only attempt to control some of what goes on.

Right now where we live, we are getting 14+ hours of light still, but there is a cut going around that is looking like it is flowering at this light schedule..
