1st indoor.slow going. PICs<input welcome>

I could not find mylar. I am not using foil I am using a product called reflectix. It says it has a 95&#37; reflective rate.

Those are some huge pots.
I am not sure that I would have put the plants into pots that big until much later.
There is nothing wrong with going ahead and doing this.
I just think that it slows the plants growth down; since root system will feel the need to expand again before it allows the plant to continue to grow.
Should not be that big of a deal though if time is not a concern.

They seem to like the new pots. They were getting root locked before I moved them into these pots. If I did not use this size I would be transplanting every week so ,too much moving for me. I thot I would put them in there final pots and see how they grow.

Would doing this not make them stronger where as you say ;''root system will feel the need to expand again before it allows the plant to continue to grow''
lack of space being a factor, I would think this would produce stronger buds?? yes/no

29 days from sprouting Started giving nutes a a few days ago and added some more light..

Lookin good, diggla.

Remember..slow and steady...just like you have been. You will be rewarded if you find patience early on in this hobby.

Back to where you ask about the pot size..etc. I think more transplanting..if done at the proper time..will give you a healthier plant. One reason I feel this way is because everytime I transplant I take the rootball out of the container and SEE IT. In a huge pot..it's a guessing game whether or not that root system really spread out and a lot depends on your watering techniques and your mix as to whether or not you will fill the container up with roots. Many times a large pot with a small plant placed in it stays very wet and the root system suffers for it...whereas a plant that comes slightly rootbound to a 5 gallon pot from a 2 or 3 gallon pot will certainly always have "at least" that amount of roots to draw nutes from. Make sense?

good luck

thought I would show a pic of my home made hood. The plants seem to like the new light.

I agree with you in the last post as the soil seems to stay pretty moist for a long time. I dont think they have very strong roots...I have thot about taking them out and mixing better soil but there doing ok so im not gonna fix whats not broken

Yes
you would get better buds.
I was just stating that it can slow the plants growth.
It is up to you though of course.
NIce growin
Keep posting pics.

Just some pics. I transplanted them again into some deeper containers. They took well to the nutes and everything with them seems well at the moment.Since topping them they have been growing very well.

fukin old lady riped my plants out when i went to work . . dont ever leave a girl in charge of your girls unless you totally trust her.. fukkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

Just tell yourself they were all males anyway. They were coming along nicely though and you're second grow will be even better. At the very least, you probably saved yourself from many late night runs to taco bell, right?
