Hello guys this has been a long time coming and I am really excited about my first grow. The strain I got was from onestopseedshop and cost me 45 for 10 of each packet of big bud and crystal. Got to my apartment in Tallahassee Florida no problem

Light- HTG 400watt with a mh bulb. also have a 600watt galaxy ballast that I havent got going yet

Ventilation-I currently have 3 fans in the room and one 265 cfm fan ghetto rigged till I get the proper flanges this weekend.

Nutrients- as you see I have Dutchmaster gold and calmag and hydro guard.

the seeds got off 2 a bad start and really streached because I had to go back to Palm beach for 3 days and had to leave them by them selves. I currently have a new batch germinating and will probably throw away the shitty 1s.

I welcome all your comments and help because hell I am going to need it.

The drip system I have is the one on v-drip.com "also on ebay"

I am going to drip for veg and then ebb and flow for flower. I plan 2 veg for 4-6 weeks but we will c how it goes. I hope this grow will be a success and you enjoy following it as I try to keep up with it. I will try to post as much as I can as the stats of my girls change.
Keep on toking

Day-4
PH5.7
PPM-360
Temp-84
water-tap with a little Dutchmaster gold and zone only up to 360 ppm

Some stretched really bad 1 can even hold her self up Is there any way I can fix this? any thoughts?

Hey man, looks nice. That dutchmaster is supposed to be good stuff. How many plants are you going for total and how big exactly is that grow space? For the falling over plant, take one of the those twisty ties for bread bags and cut it about an inch long. Stick it into the soil right near the base of the sprout and coil it around the stem corkscrew style. Don't make it too tight around the stem because you'll want to put a fan blowing strong on this plant so it kind of rattles around in the twisty coil. The point of the coil is just so the plant isn't blown flat to the ground. Keeping the light a proper distance and having a strong breeze is the only way to strengthen the stems.

The mylar I got was 26 with shipping for 4x50 feet the to 3 meters were a total of 110 the hydrofarm fan was a total of 40 and v-drip system was a 100 total. There are deals out there if you look hard enough. Onestopseedshop.com was very cool my first to picks were out so they emailed me back and asked what I wanted instead. All right, your journals up, looks good.:blsmoke:

You can get plastic covers for your blocks or make them, it will keep the algae from growing on top of the rockwool.

Heres a tip about rockwool, it tends to run on the soggy side soggy, and watch for salt-build up, I've used to use it a lot. Plugs, blocks, slabs. I like the Gordan EXPERT because the grain runs vertically.

You made some good choice's, The pH pen will become your best friend:mrgreen:

Here are the pics as I said I would. It is hard to but in picture 8 the stem is broken and it cant hold it self up. I took the twistie tie and put it around him so it is forced to stand up by the support. Will he make it? how long till he can support him self

Ok guys I got day 6 for you and we are looking better.
My ppm is 345 I have my ress filled with a 50/50 mix of distilled and tap water. Also a baby amount of Dutchmaster grow A+B and Dutch Master zone. Also hydro guard. I did a 1/8 amount of what the normal dosage amount is so my ppms are still only at 345.
ph- is at 5.8 or 5.9 only rising a little bit during the night and day.
Temp was at 91!!!!! when I woke up but got it back to the normal 84-86 degree mark.
There were no signs of damage. My questions for you guys are..... will putting big water bottles full of ice in front of a fan make it cooler. also do My babys look like where they should be 4 the 6day mark thanks everyone

345 is a good ppm for this stage. What is your tap water ppm? I see what you mean with the stretching on some of them. That might be a problem down the road. I didn't have much stretching and the branches still want to fall over once the buds gets some weight to them. Whatever stretching you have in veg is multiplied many times over during the first few weeks of flower. Just keep a fan blowing strong on them and the light as close as possible. It looks like that plant in the first pic is working on its third set of leaves. Very good for 6 days, right on schedule. I haven't had to fight with temps much. Hopefully someone else has a tip for you there.

Thanks mared for all the advice my tap water is a ppm of195. any luck with your car? I am thinking that topping my plants would be a good idea. Would that help the stretching?

Do you believe that they told me the auto theft division does not work weekends? And it won't be entered into NCIC until tomorrow? No one except these douchebag county cops even knows my car is stolen. That's fine. I'd rather no one found a stripped chassis on cinder blocks. I get more money from insurance if it's a total loss.

My topped plant ended up taller and just as stretched as the untopped plant. I think light distance, wind, and LST are your best options.

Sounds good man Ill keep that in mind. THE NCIC is fucked what do they think they are a bank closed on the weekends and holidays. What a bunch of lazy pigs. I wonder if 1 of there cars got stollen if they would have to wait to the weekend. I would think deff that your car got striped for the turbo mostly and other parts.....should have listened to mommy. =)

Looks great for day 6, Pigpen.

Does your 265cfm fan, remove air from the room ??
What do you have going for intake ??

No nute burn, excellent. Its very easy to do.

Yes the 265cm Is set up so that it is taking the air right from the light and then exhausting it out the closet. Ill try to get some better pics of the setup 2night but for intake there really isnt 1? I have a total of 4 fans the closet is the type where there are 2 doors and they slide so I kept 1 side closed and the other 4 exhaust but know u got me thinking..........Ill try getting ore pix 2night take is easy guys thanks for the help

If you just get a fan on the floor blowing cool air in it should solve those heat problems. I only have one cheap ass walmart tower fan that isn't even powerful. It sits in the closet doorway forcing cool air into the bottom of the closet. I don't even have an exhaust fan or anything ventilating the light. Temps never go above 82.
