1st grow, when to cut

I know this gets asked a lot so please excuse me while i ask the newbie question...

My thoughts is to give it another week based of what i show.

Pictures aren’t great but i notice mostly milkey white, some clear and a few Amber trichomes.

Can i get a consensus? Another week?

Look at the actual bud not a leaf, from what I’ve been told the trichomes on sugar leaves Amber a bit quicker than the bud itself. Take a picture of the bud and see if it looks the same. If so I’d say those are definitely ready.

I lied. Exactly my point don’t go by sugar leaf trichomes. You have a few weeks still.

another three to four weeks left. don't chop early - she'll put on the majority of her weight those last few weeks. nice first grow.

Take it from another on his first grow.......
Once you see how those buds swell up and get covered in trichomes the last two weeks or so you will know why you waited.

Another month, unless you prefer smoking white hairs and no bud.

Hey it’s easy when they don’t talk back! Lmao

As others have said, don't shortchange yourself now by picking them early. You have lots and lots of straight white hairs, at least 3 - 4 weeks. Post new pics in 3 weeks and we'll see how your doing.

After all this work the last thing i wanna do is shortchange myself. Thanks for the input...

I’ll post updates come next week as this morning i noticed some whites turning orange color and curling.

Mind you those pics are a little over a week old.

It’s also interesting topic to look into a period of dark 24-36 hours before harvest. But keep RH lower and watering very minimal a day or two beforehand.

Weeks to go

So i have fan leafs turning and dying on me, mostly lowest part of the plants...
that’s normal at this stage??

YES

Well things are moving along nicely and yes still a few weeks to go. trichomes on the buds are still mostly clear, but they are sure getting frosty and building mass, some steam bent over do to weight.
