1st grow searching for mother plants

If ya use honey on the joins it heals faster and acts as an anti infection coating.

sounds like you pushin things aswell m8! I'd love to see some pics

Cool man I'm def. following this grow. Dude wtf I need some pics of the frankenplant. I would love to attach my SLH to My master kush. So if it works out u could keep em going and just take cuttings as need? Anyway nice setup looking 4ward to some more pics.
PS This hobby is super addicting can't stop thinking bout my next grow.

im usin a 6" inline fan think its a vortex and a 6" carbon filter but iv got them in the loft with ductin running to my grow an suckin air in an back to the fan an then been pushd out through the carbon filter but to be honest im gonna change it so the filter is in the room an the air is suckd through the filter as its not workin well this way

iv taken a couple of pics there a bit blurrd but il put them up tomorrow iv lookd around on google an youtube today for plant graftin an found a few people have already done this an it seems to work well

great bit of info about the honey il giv it a try when im ready to build my proper frankenmother

not updated for a few days but everythings going well i fed sum golden syrup/treacle last night an thay seem to have enjoyed it as the bag seed are 2" taller this morning there now around 21" - 22" which is double the size thay were 12 days ago when put into flower an the cheese are comin on well an seem to have started to flower a lot faster than the bag seed did
the e cheese are just startin to show a difference every day which im well pleased with as these are my first ever clones

from what iv heard an been told an all the readin iv done, it looks like most mj plants will double or even triple in size during flowering,
im expecting them to end up at around 3ft tall maybe a little taller but luckily iv got a 6 1/2 ft high area where i grow so im fine

cool. yeah i saw that your bagseed was 22" , thats gonna shoot up ... lol.

i will get them on here as soon as possible it aint updated any pics for a few days as my pc is playin up but hopefully its being sorted sunday afternoon so il put sum update pics an the frankenplant pics on as soon as its sorted(franken pics aint that clear)
im still kinda dissapointed in the buds on the bag seed there just over 2 weeks into flower an altho there gettin a lot bigger thare not producin hardly any flowers the 3 ghouse cheese are only 5 days into flower an have as many bud sites as the bag seed
i am however very happy with my echeese clones there comin along well

yep for sum reason it just wasnt effective pushin dirty air out through the filter an i know its not the fan or filter as there both new and both expensive good quality items
as soon as i set it up with the filter at the start its sorted the smell out brilliantly so i guess its just trial and error im also gonna get sum ona gel as advised by sambo020482 (thanks m8 ) an then it should never be a problem lol!!!

they need to make a carbon filter that can just push the air through like this ------|-------- < the | would be the carbon filter. the ----- are ducts . that would be badass. and way more efficient. why dont they do that?

the answer to this is because a long cylinder shape has more surface area than a flat disk ----===] is more area than this ----] the bigger the area and lower air speed the better the filter

any one know where i can get the instructions for a budbox xxl and i also need to know how many poles it should have as im sure mine has sum poles missin i have been told the poles should be numberd or colour coded but mine has neither lol

i was gonna make my own when i first decided to grow i was gonna get sum guttering down pipe tape sum muslin or similar cloth over one end then fill it up with activated carbon an pack it down an then cover the other end with muslin an hav it as an inline filter
it should work ok as i made a prototype small one that workd ok but carbon filters are so important i didnt wanna risk it

yo bro, ditch them MG nutes for shore, aint seen any posts but people wid probs from em! organics imo 4 the ladys, no nasty chem salt probs

there gone m8 the more i thoink about it the more i realise wot a iv been for usin that shit also the phostrogen im usin is sum really nasty chemical shit so thats gotta go aswelli tried to do things cheap as im not workin at the mo but its cum back an bit me in the ass i rally should have known better
i need somethin thats very simple to follow cheap an organic iv got a habitof over feedin aswell thats part the reason im thinkin bout changing my growing medium and havin a hydro setup where iv just gotta make a nute mix every week or so

Ya aint got to pay loads just pick wisely, any brand name 2 part organic nute will blow MG dead! or mix ya own if ya feel cheap from any old poo, lol
hydro is quite a hobby and not as forgiving as soil, soil acts like a buffer for ya nutes where as hydro can go bad fast. ya doing well though m8!

thanks again m8 thats a good point about hydro going bad fast, im gonna sell my iws system an my rockwool trays an the nft systems an buy 10 - 12 big pots an sum quality soil an nutrients with the cash from it
i think 10 - 12 plants sounds about right for my 1.2 x 2.4 tent with co2 an i want a nutrient that has a chart with it so i can just follow that an not have to mess around as im just makin it up as i go along at the moment an after readin up an checkin out pics today i have got mild nute burn
i should have wrote down a plan for feeding but instead sum days i water an sum days i add nutrients an im just not organised
i have said from the start all i want from this grow is 5 oz and the growing experience, so i should be ok, i dont think 5 oz is a lot to ask for from 3 bag seed that are 3ft at 2 weeks in flower an 3 cheese that are 1 3/4ft at 1 week into flower, thats less than an ounce per plant iv also had to put 2 ghouse cheese into my greenhouse an a fem bag seed as iv not got room for them indoors at the minuit
