Update day, its been 7 days since last update. She's doing well still stretch has seemed to slow down 1300 PPM and PH 5.8-6.2 guess my water temp is a bit high but not showing any bad signs i can check on my roots easy enough. hoping this baby ripens up at a good pace im tired of buying.i need to find a way to make my pictures bigger they look better, Pics: 2013-01-18_09-08-49_351.jpg2013-01-16_21-34-13_459.jpg2013-01-16_21-33-30_577.jpg2013-01-18_09-08-09_126.jpg

Shaping up really nice. I feel you on the buying issue. Think I will be taking a break till harvest when I run out here in a few days.

How do you have your net/screen suspended? I am trying to figure out a good way to create a adjustable screen. Just trying to get ideas how to attach it to the tent frame.

Just keep it simple man, my screen was able to wedge in the tent, im not worried about the frame i need to get a bigger tent when i get a bigger place. I recommend clamps, any kind with a good grip will work. I also seen people rig them with zipties

Looking pretty sick man...so let's get a pic update!!! I'm really excited to see the progress.

Some Questions for you though...

1. Do you feel you vegged it enough to fill out the screen as much as you'd have liked to?
2. How much do you think you'll get dry (go on...take a guess)
3. Have you thought about next run and putting some mesh over the drain to keep the roots out?
4. Are you using foil over your hyrdoton...or is there so much shade there won't be algae?

Keep it up man...you're killing it!!

Thanks much appreciated :D i have some more pics i'll put up gonna find a way to maybe enlarge them its turning into a crystal factory in there ha

1. I vegged for 45 days and probably could have gone another 7-10 days to fill the screen up more, however i was worried about vertical room as its a 5' tent. right now the light is high as it can go and its about 13 inches away from tops. Overall i probably would have been happier with a week longer veg but i still don't know how its gonna turn out, still pending on overall stretch.

2. My goal with this setup for my 1st go around was 6 ounces, my guess its gonna be atleast 8 ounces now.

3. Yes i definitely have, very good question, that has been on my mind some time. As of now i think im going to, but i still think the clogging effect will still occur with root blocking. And im not sure if the extra room for the roots to grow is doing any good? perhaps with a longer veg, they are lightly blocked in the res now.

4. Yes i used foil over the hydroton until the canopy filled over. from what i've heard it helps with algae and evaporation primarily so yup

I love how short you managed to keep them. Beautiful looking plant. Makes me want to grow another PE.

Just got caught up on your grow and that's one sexy lady you've got there. I'm on day 24 of my first grow with a similar setup so I'll be tagging along to see how they compare.

Looking great Orlandocb! +rep for a successful reproduction of Scotty's style and methods! I admire your scrogging skills there - nicely spread out on that screen. I didn't journal my PE waterfarm grow, but thought I'd post a few quick pics from that grow for you to compare to. This strain is truly a joy to grow - very vigorous and happy plant that is not picky at all. Anyways - I hope you don't mind me posting a few pics in your journal - enjoy! :leaf:

I weaved it until 2 weeks in flower seemed to turn just about right for what i have luckily enough was kind of going on a whim, and the cola's are pretty much filled out now (day 30). It is indeed beautiful and smells just wonderful, lot of cheese and heavy pungent/musty like smell then a few hours later it smells super sweet fruitish and lemon pine aroma.

Damn that canopy is tight! I do see why you would have wanted to vege another several days to a week.

Looking real nice Cb. I see your PE is stretching like my LAD I have running Day 16 with very minimal stretch . Lesson learned.

I was defenitly expecting more stretch, should it be stretched more for optimal weight?
I find it depends on the strain but You should have a nice yield. Although I have seen a few Pe grows now and it seems you may have to veg longer. I seen Mr.2shim and sr.verde and both seemed to have the same problem not much stretch. I have so little stretch on my LAD at 16 days, I should have filled the screen completely up and a inch or 2 above the screen and flower.lol
