1st grow need help with cfl side lighting?

I am currently growing 15 plants in a space of 110cm x 65cm
In hindsight i should of tried less, but anyway im taking 1 out cause the others have seriously out competed her by far, the only problem is the lower bushy parts recieve so little light, i got loads of 14w energy saver lights which i will place inbetween the plant pots as a kinda under light, does anyone know if the under side of plants photsynthesize? there not hot to touch so i cant see any harm if the light touches them. and also does it even matter? i flowered at 6inch nearly 3weeks ago and growing under 600w hps, from seed, they now at 17inch, litlle soldiers!!!!!!

light is good, if they don't get light they'll just be useless. just cut the lower branches of if you don't want them. I think it'll be a waste of energy for the plants to maintain the low branches with no lighting.

thanks man, also what sort of yield would you expect to get from this if they grow to 20inch? just a rough estimate, mates say 20grams a plant

it all depends on your skills and the strain. but definitely going to be worth it in the end if you do it right.

my skills most prob somewhere between a 5yr old child and a stoned moron to be honest, i water, i fert, and leave them be. also, is it normal to go 3weeks with no buds?the super skunk has started flowering but the cheese hasnt, despite the cheese being the taller bushier ones? thanks mate help much apprecitated

all you really need is water and light and time. different strains different times. just make sure they are getting at least 11 hours or more of darkness and they'll blossom sooner than later
