so i put 3 seeds in soil on oct 4th, there bagseed of lemon haze. i started em off pretty ghetto in my basement
*sta-green nitrogen realease soil
*in cut off bottoms of plastic bottle, 3 inch tall
*temp 45-55 degree F
* under 3 23 watt cfls

they started good for the first week or so.
they were undergrown but healthy.

they started getting unhealthy looking, dieing leafs. yellowing, turning brow and falling off. and the stems were really dark purple. so i moved them into larger pots and moved them into my bedroom closet and got a new cfl fixture with 6 sockets

they were doing okay, looking better sine i moved them.

since then i have put them in smaller pots and black gold soil and have been PHing the water. i started using 1/4th strength fox farm and it has really helped

one of em was getting really droopy so i flushed it last night, and it has perked up and grow quite a bit. the other one is doin amazing now, lush gree, growing rapidly

im germinating seeds at the moment, just some funky shwag bagseed but there the only seeds i could find so its better then nothing lol ill update pics when i get them poking through soil. im hoping these plants wont b as gross as the weed i got the seeds from haha

Sounds like your temps were too low at first. They should be around 75 degrees. Since your soil already has nutes in it, you shouldn't need to use them for about two to three weeks. Happy growing good luck!

yea the temp was way to low, thats why i moved em to another room. the temp is between 70-80 now
and the plants are 2 months old now, i wus leary of giving em nutes but the low dose seems to b helping alot

i have 4 17 watt 4100k flourescent tubes, im thinking of hangin them once i get the new seeds in soil to spread the light out a bit more, would it help? iv heard that 4100k bulbs are pointless bcuz the plant cant use that spectrum

looks good dude. if you have an old dresser or something similiar deffidently rig your lights into it. looks like alot of your light is kind of like dissipating into the room away from your plants

yea im goona try to get mylar or something once i get theses seeds in soil. i just dont have any thing up around them to bounce light back right now because my fan will blow it over and it gets really hot in that closet without both fans running. but my girls are HUGE compare to wut they looked like befor i went to bed last night. the stems are alot thicker and the purple/redish color is almost completly gone =)

i noticed today that every branch on both plants have started a new set of leaves close to the stem, some have grow 2 new sets on each branch. is this a sign of the leafs not sucking up enough light?? or is it just maturing? i havent seen leaves like this on any pics ive found of RIU

they are getting beefy tho =D almost doubling in size everyday.
