i think that i am going to take the little seedling and put it in some soil and leave the other one in the AG for now. I just put some mag in it and some superthrive. hopefully it will snap out of it.
1st grow, is there a problem with this?

Hey stoner chick, I wouldn't worry to teribally much about the yellowing. You plant looks pretty healty to me. My little seedling had a MUCH worse start, with a bad burn on it's first true leaf! But it kept on chugging! check it!
This is at a couple days old (the damn Miracle Grow soil did it)
and here she is 2 weeks later
And yours didn't look nearly as bad as mine! Look at the botom leaf of the plant in the last pic, there's the burnt leaf. So I think you'll be fine just keep an eye on it... I am growing in soil tho, I don't know anything about growing AG. hope this puts you at ease a little... lol

Hey not a problem! Be careful about the worm castings. I don't know anything at all about them but I thought I read somewhere that they are full of nutes. Just don't want to give such a little plant to many nutrients ya know..?.. I haven't given mine ANY except for what's in the soil. Just something to thing about and ceep an eye on. GL

okay so now i have my little seed in some good soil mixed with worm poop. hear is day one of that. but have no fear i am still keeping the bigger one in the AG. I started this seed at the same time i did the other one. but if you have been keeping up with this thread then you know that it was having problems shedding its seed husk and i finally removed it. sloooooow grower. so now we are totally experimenting with both mediums. yay.
also, has anyone ever used this seaweed stuff?

Hey looks good! Those solo or dixi cups are just fantastic for starting seedlings in! It's what I use because it's so easy to transplant because you can just cut the cup off with scisors. Also I don't know where you live, but where I live it's really dry. So I kept my dixi cup covered with plastic wrap (zip lock bag) for about a week to keep the moisture in! The little seedlings LOVE all that moisture! Just open it a few times a day so she can get fresh air!... Just something to consider... Do that and make sure you have drainage holes in the botom of that cup and you should be golden! Your little girls are lookin good!

I havent tried orchid plant food in general but the nutes i have r for orchids,and other kinds of plants etc...I heard it was pretty good but ur gonna have to ask around more to find out if its fine.It should be but i dont want u to kill ur babies.dont start nuteing yet either wait a little while nuteing to early can severly harm ur plant!Hoping ur babies prosper and grow to be big beautiful girls!~!

not nuting the itty bitty one yet just the bigger one with ag nutes. just asking around to find out what i can use when the time comes for the little one in the dirt.

those nutes SHOULD work fine hence the word SHOULD lol.Try to get a pic of them so i can tell.mine r caleld scwartz brand PLant food and they r made especially for herbs,orchids,and other plants so it should work fine just make sure to never over nute the plant and u should be fine.Loving ur grow still,ill have some more pics of mine up on friday or saturday so ill let u know so u can check the baby out!~! shes asleep right now so i cant wait to wake her up and see if shes grown nemore

bealzibud, she has 3 heads, and Tinkerbud.
Yay, my three leaf plant was a girl, i'm guessing the other 2 will be boys, i swear testicles are the root of all evil, rofl.
hope i work it out soon. r u growing in dirt too, u busy little bee

okay hear it is. she looks very compact, good stem, the ph is right where it needs to be as you can see in the pic. i think i fixed the mag def prob and i will give nutes tomorrow. any and all help is welcome.
