1st Grow Ever Northern Lights AutoFem from Nirvana. Using CFL and Hydroponic system

This week is the week my 5 Feminized Northern Lights seeds come in. Due to the height restriction at about 2 feet or so, I chose an autoflower, also because I read up that they are very good beginner plants, not to mention I have also read up that Northern Lights is a very forgiving strain ideal for the first-time grower like me. This is what I have so far, and will have pics up possibly tomorrow.

-Grow Room
For my grow room I am using a cabinet that is in my shed that is big enough for 1 plant(Will give specific dimensions w/ the pics)
Covering surface area with reflective material.
2 CPU fans for intake, and 1 bigger CPU fan for exhaust. The 2 intakes blow air directly where the plant will be, and these fans blow enough air to most likely sway the leaves giving good amounts of Co2 to the plants.
Cabinet style doors to shut to keep 100% darkness during the "off" time of the photo-period.
Home made hydro system made from a tupperware, taped with black electrical tape around it to prevent light from getting to the roots, fish air pump, air stone, and will be using rockwool and clay pellets which I still need to pick up from the hydrostore.

-Nutrients
I am using General Hydroponics Flora nutrients for my plant. I am using the LucasFormula, which is essentially using just the Micro and the Bloom as they already have a sufficient amount of Nitrogen to supply to the plant. I will put a screen shot of this formula I found on a thread on RollItUp
I will change water and food every 7 days, and every 2 weeks will flush regular pH balanced water for 7 days. (If anyone has a better opinion on feeding schedules please leave your method, I am open to new methods as I never grown and would like some experience based answers/opinions)

-Lights
For the short veg cycle of the autoflower I have 1x 32 watt 6500k and 2x 20 watt 6500k CFL bulbs which comes out to a total of 72 Watts for one plant, with the reflective surface area, and I will keep the CFL's close to the plant. I know 72 watts is a bit of a scarce amount of light for her, but the veg cycle on these autoflowers is very short anyways.
For the flower period, once I notice sex and signs of flowering I will switch out the lights with 2x 23watt 2700K 2x 14 watt 2700k and 2x 13 watt 2700k.. I do understand I have plenty of those little 13/14 watt CFL's but they were sitting around and I might as well use them, and all together I get about 100 Watts, and the 2x 23watts both put out 1600 lumens of light. Hopefully this light set up will at least get me started on my adventure on learning to be a good cannabis gardener.

-On my shopping list
Standard light socket splitters (to make one socket fit 2 bulbs) and I will need 3 housings and 3 Splitters. I already have 1 Housing
pH tester, and some pH up, and pH down. (all for fairly cheap at the local hydro shop)
Rockwool & Clay pellets, which is again, at the hydro shop

I'm very excited to finally have my first grow, and to have some delightful smoke which I will know is organic. The seeds should be arriving sometime this week and my expectations is to have it germed, and in the rockwool by or on Friday, which happens to be 4/20! Happy early 4/20 to everyone!:leaf:
If you have any questions, or constructive criticism please let me know, so it can be the for the better of my plant's health. Will have some pictures up tomorrow most likely.

Hopefully all goes well and I will learn much from this, I feel like for a newbie I sure have done my homework and research and I have a good feeling I will receive some good product.:bigjoint:

NL from Nirvana was my first seed I purchased. Decent plant and decent smoke.
Yes, I actually was just reading your grow journal. In the one with the CFL's what did you wire those little light sockets to? A regular positive/negative wall adapter? As you can see on my shopping list I still need the lamp housings and then the socket splitters.

Yep. It was a heavy duty adapter, but yes, wired directly into a regular wall adapter. Plugged that into a multi-socket power strip which runs the lights, and the CPU fans which are wired to an DC-AC Converter.
