What strain is the short one? My Sour Deisel is very short compared to the others I have growing. Just wondering what the short one is?

Peace
If you mean the seedlings, they are both G-13 Haze. I germinated two of the feminized seeds to see of one got more growth than the other. If you mean the mother plants, the Sour Diesel doesn't have as lush growth as the Purple Kush.

Yep I cut them at a 45 degree angle, split the stems, and shaved some of the outer bark off of the backsides.

At the rate they are going I think I will be able to put the healthier clones in their containers and discard the rest by the end of the week...I hope. Then I can switch to 12/12 maybe next week.

Today I put the 6 best clones into their containers. They had pretty vigourous root growth.

I started by lining the bottom of the pot's with some rockwool. Just a tiny bit to keep the pellets from blocking or falling out of the drainage holes.

Then I filled the containers half way with Hydroton and then put another very thin layer of rockwool to keep the roots moist while they get used to their new medium.

Then I set the clones in the containers and carefully filled the containers up to where the leaves started on the clones. I freakin ran out of Hydroton on the last container. I'll transplant the last clone tonight. I gave them a good soak.

Wish me luck!

i never have problems waiting on them to veg...

its during the last 2 weeks where there is a field of not-quite-ripe buds and all of my pipes are empty that I have patience issues ;-)

cant wait to see what they look like in flower... its going to be so beautiful - you've done a great thing!

Thanks man!

Your right that will probably be the worst part of it.

Well my patience did run out after all. I took a couple more cuttings from the mothers so I can replace them. And rather than throw them in the trash I put them into the flower room on 12/12. I set them on the floor of the cabinet and will hand water them. I'll just harvest these two a week sooner.

You needed to end that with a bow. `!WOW!` really amazing job! Cant wait to see it in action! ! !
Haha, thanks!

Here are some photos. Not much has changed. I moved the Mendo Purps seeds into the veg cabinet because they were streching too much.

Here are the mother plants in their 2nd day of 12/12. I supercropped them in a few places just messin around. They never wilted.

The clones are looking pretty good in their new containers. I put some plastic between the leaves and water on a few of them, until they get a little taller.

I'm starting to see some powdery mildew on a few of the plants. I noticed a bit of it on the neopreme sleeves of my cloner.

Whats the best way to treat for this? Not planning on getting a sulphur burner.

I treated this morning with a a mixture of baking soda and water combined with a few drops of dishsoap.

Found a good, but expensive product called Organocide. Suppose to do well against Mildew as well as spidermites and all kinds of other stuff. Read good things we'll see.

I know sulphur is the way to go. But my budget for this project doesnt include $120 for a sulphur burner unfortunately.

So today I officially started flowering. I'll keep a more detailed log of what I'm doing now. I know they are a little small, but I don't mind a smaller yield for this first grow, especially since I am also flowering the mom's. Better quality than quantity. The next grow will have about a month veg time and be trained SCROG style, and will have 6 instead of 8 plants.

Day 1:
PH - 6.2

Nutes - 1100 PPM Dutchmaster Two Part Flower - Ten Drops Superthrive - 1 Tsp Fat Flower

Irrigation - Every four hours and twice at night

Treated plants with organocide before going into flower.

I plan to move the light to about 12-14" in a day or two after they adjust to the HPS.

Let me know what you think!
