1st Grow - Client / Server model, perpetual, Top44 & Citral

Thanks, V. The plan on the Bonsai thread is to keep the fervor on the up for the picture posts. I don't mind chatting and discussing on there, but I probably will just show less cards, you know? I really only want to share the shots I consider pretty. Regarding yield, the Sativa I've got raging in the flower tower now should stomp the measly 7.4 wet I've got now and it's got very slender leaves on the buds. I will post a shot of her along with my nugs at the end just so you guys see the power. I may also show an outdoor shot of Beatrice on this thread for grins, too. It's so low traffic.. only you guys'll get to see it. I just pray she re-vegges OK.

i feel you on the low yields... last one i pulled was 11 grams wet.

Christy: 12/12 from seed, 71 days, flowering 32 days.

Veg. Box:
Citral #1: 18/6 or 24/0, 94 days
Twilight #1: 18/6, 37 days
Passion #1 #1: 18/6, 35 days
Nikki: Zenbud rooted clone, 32 days

Sorry I've been away. Work has been hell for the past few weeks. So, I got almost an 8th out of Beatrice. She was a good first crack. Jenna should yield far more. Christy is coming along finally. I can't give her bloom nutes, though, or she starts stressing immediately, so that kinda blows. She smells great, though. Also a small yielder, but DENSE nug. I just tore bits from both plants to give them a try at the half-way mark, too.

The veg. box is awesome. Those plants are so branched and small. They will flower with some fury, for certain!

That's about it.. sorry so quick, but work calls again...

Also.. for the haters.. a slight Top44 smoke report. Whomever said this shit is a crappy smoke is a fucking jackass. I was rocked off my ass today. Taste isn't all there just yet, but the smell is just starting to cure up, so I have faith.

I wouldn't normally try a 6 week strain like that as I've tried LR#1 and a strain called Early Girl and found both to be a bit disappointing. Sounds like Top44 may be worth a shot though.

Real life has called a lot recently. I just haven't had time, but hoping soon.
I'm still curing.. still have to get one sativa shot on here as 'hopes' to anyone that reads it and goes, 'fuuuck.. all that for an eighth? I'm not wasting my time.' This girls is a monster. Gigantic fluffiness all over. If anyone can outright name this strain, I will love you forever!
My babies aren't even at home right now. It's been tough on them, but I got to give them all a haircut tonight. Just want to let anyone out there know that a shit ton of bonsai moms in a pc case is TOTALLY feasible. I'll have to try to keep the sativa down after re-veg. Everything I have in there now is Indica.

Smoke report on the Top44 is easy. I packed a sizeable bowl of it the other day and it did great work. The buds are dark amber, COVERED in crystals. It was a really nice stone. Not couchlock, but definitely Indica. The taste is earthy with a slightly herbal taste. Smell is nice and floral, but feint. This stuff is a decent alternative to BigBud, in my book.. smokewise, anyways.

Happy with Top44? Sure. Would I buy it again? No.

Nice smoke report there ER ........ I'd take quality over quantity any time! I get annoyed when other growers run down low yields, they can't seem to get the point that we dont ALL want to be wasted all of the time and need OZ's of buds!!! I think moderation brings a much better appreciation of taste, aroma and above all effect, I used to find back in the days when I was hammering it a bit that I lost much of the pleasure of cannabis use.

I wanted to pop in here tonight right quick. Like I said in my last post or so.. life has been kicking my ass. I just got back from the big vacation and I did not want to let people think that computer cases still only make an 1/8 of weed, as we saw with my stunted Top44.

I JUST finished my second harvest from the flower tower. *BIG FUCKING GRIN!!*

Jenna: 12/12 from seed, 109 days, flowering 73 days
Christy: 12/12 from seed, 109 days, flowering 66 days.

Jenna, A CONFIRMED DIESEL, blasted out 43g wet for me tonight and is poised for re-veg.
Christy packed on the weight late in the game and gave me 21g wet. I'm half-heartedly attempting a re-veg., but we'll see.

So.. harvest #1 was 14g wet, if I recall. Harvest #2 is 64g wet.. looking for 34 or so dry. An OZ + from a fucking computer case? I'm giving the finger to the haters, at this point.

Why do I say "confirmed" diesel? Well.. it was already suspected, as I cut up and slung a shit-ton of diesel back in the day, but anyone who has smoked GOOD Diesel knows the scent in 2 seconds, flat. It's different from any other strain out there, in that respect. Flush and cut, plus the resin fingers.. I'm 100% certain of it. Still having some in the freezer to compare looks makes it pretty easy, too.

A quick note on the Citral.. The smell was peppery, earthy, citrus. The nugget was DENSE and far heavier than it looked. I'd have thought 10-12 wet.

The Twilight and oldest Citral went into the tower this evening, as it's their turn. The Twilight has 16 equal height tops. The Citral has about the same. I am fully expecting 3 OZ from those plants combined. I will attempt to update this thread with the harvests and MAYBE occasional photos.

FYI I tend to work on 20 - 25% of wet weight for final cured bud.

Ugh. 20-25% sucks. Still.. let's say 25%.. that's 16g. I've never in my life had 16g be as large as this pile of nugg. So.. I'm gonna try to cut things off when weight's down to 21 and see how it is. Think I'm risking mold? These piles EACH lost maybe 10g overnight. I'm at 42g. De-humidifier in the basement is CRANKED.

Oh yeah.. just smoked some Top44. Taste on that is VERY blah, but what a great stone. Makes me feel like I'm surrounded by pillows.

I'd give a nut to have my camera right now. We're moving and everything's packed. The Citral has this awesome blue hue to it and the pepper smell is VERY pronounced today.

As long as humidity in the dryer is ok you shouldn't see any mold. Losing 10g overnight shows there's no humidity problems.
It is a bummer seeing those losses but that's what spurned me on to getting a fresh harvest every few weeks. Sounds like you are set fair for another harvest soon with the 2 new plants going in

At least those yields are gradually increasing as you become more dialled into micro growing I generally find 25% is about right too. Look forward to seeing more pics of your set up when you settle in. Good luck for future grows

I stuck into curing at 14g Diesel and 6.4g Citral. I dunno about you guys, but I'm stoked with that as a dry result. I may try co2 soon, though.

All girls and 1 idunno are doing well. Zenbud's chillin', Diesel and Citral (small) look to be re-veging successfully. I left another 3 grams or so of budmatter on diesel and maybe half that on the Citral. They are both sucking the buds back into themselves. Very neat to watch. The Citral just has a few hairs. In the other case, no sex on either, Twilight is yellow-y. The big Citral looks like it's thriving hard. Seriously, it has 20-some tops, as is. The LST I have planned is gonna look awesome, too.

Picture a huge bush in your yard. That's what the citral plant looks like on a small scale. The internodes are VERY tight on Citral, so there are just a shit-ton of branches.

So I was packing a quick 1-hitter last night and found a seed in my diesel. Since the diesel didn't re-veg, I'm SO happy to have a seed from her. The father is a vigorous Auto White Russian.
