1st grow cfl

i started these plants almost 4 weeks ago now.. :shock:

why are they growing so slow? i recently put them in this rubbermaid container and they seem to be growing a lot better. ii also had a flouresent tube on them before but i decided to switch to 2 42 watt cfls 1 daylight and the other is soft white and i have 2 26 watt cfls also that are also soft white i believe. any help, comments or anything would be appretiated.

prob jus gettin used to the light...you might not have had enough light on them ...need to move about 6 inches above plant cuz at 1-2 feet a cfl is at like 40% max light

also where could i purchase an hps lamp other than off the internet?

Get some more light man!! Really small for 4 weeks should be at east a foot tall by now

Soft/warm are more flower light 2700.. cool is for veg 6500...
HPS lights are sold at home depot(here anyway)... security lights, or any hydro shop.. and now that they're selling aerogardens on TV going to these shops isn't the paranoia event it was ........

more light and i would transplant into some bigger pots(not growing could be root bound)...i would say once you transplant you should see alot more growth!

They look OK to me. Mine grew under 5500's a bit slower and I stunted them by having them too close to the lights. From my own experience with CFLs, too close, you stunt, too far you stretch. The plants will be fine if you get more dirt in those cups (underneath, which is really tough) and just sit tight. Make sure you're not overwatering them. I go by weight. You should probably just veg. these guys a little longer.. that's all. My one that's topped and still vegging just started looking decent size at 50 days old. It took a while to respond to the stunting I gave it.

so its been a couple weeks since i last posted but i got some pics.. they looked a lot better for a while and then all the bottom leaves started turning yellow and dieing and shit some of the upper leaves ends are yellow too. i transplanted all the plants in to bigger pots exept for the smallest one. please help me.. i have 5 plants, 2 in two litres cut in half 1 in an ice cream pale and 1 in and clay pot and 1 in a little red cup. i recently fed them miricle grow for the first time.
