1st Grow- Blue Cheese, Amnesia Haze, A5 Haze, Silver Haze, OG Kush

Lookin beautiful guys, seriously nice for a first grow. You might have some problems with overcrowding in there the more they grow. My favourite's the front middle, loving the strong sativa characteristics there, is that the silver haze?

Cheers mate, its always nice to hear a kind word. Yer, we do have a bit of a situation with overcrowding. Today we had to chop down the Kush, sorry guys but it wasn't showing pre-flowers and looked generally shit. Still sad to see it go. And yer, that's the shining silver haze- its looking a little thin in the branches, but bushy.

Unfortunately the A5 plant was confirmed as a male, we've had some suspicions over the past week. It seemed to be working well under the screen, would have been interesting to see how it panned out. To give our plants slightly more room, we have placed 2 bamboo canes crossed over each other (+), which are slightly larger than the tent. This keeps the tent from being sucked inwards by the strong extractor fan, giving the plants more room on the sides. I'll post pictures of it next update.

Cheers TC

Day 11 of 12/12- The plants are all showing pistils, and all bushing up nicely. I think getting rid of the 2 free plants was a good move, freeing up some space. We're feeding them flower and growth nutrients once a week, slowly raising the amount each feed. We will also start using Plagron's Green Sensation in the next couple of weeks, should be interesting to see if it helps or not, cost us an arm and a leg to buy. Has anyone else used it?

We also propped up a couple of the smaller Blue Cheeses, bringing them closer to the canopy. It seems we have 2 sativa pheno's of BC, both of them are taller, and have stretched more in the last week.

The plant outside the tent is the Amnesia Haze, and the topped one in the middle is the Shining Silver Haze. The rest are Blue Cheese

Oh yer, here's a couple pictures of the bamboo canes. Their keeping the sides of the tent from being sucked inwards by the extractor fan. It seems to have added a few cm's on our growing area :hump:!

Thank you very much Lilindian, I'm sure one day you'll be able to run a bigger tent than ours, but your current set up is pretty nice. The end result of your lemon hazes looks pretty damn nice, hope ours are of a similar standard and I sure can't wait for things to get interesting.

Happy Growing

TC

Haha! Loving the bamboo, that's a good idea, I might adopt on my next grow. Cheers, +rep
Have you smoked Amnesia Haze before? It's all you can get in London at the moment, or rather that's what the dealers are saying they have lol.

Thanks for the compliments Razztafarai and yes I have had amnesia haze many times cos I live in South Holland and they have it in all the coffeeshops here, also me and my flat mate are both Londoners and I don't think they've got the real deal but you never know! dealers chat an astonishing amount of shit in my experience so... fuck it who knows. I find it hard to believe though because it's not a good cash cropper as it has a long flowering period and probably the most permeating/pungent smell of almost all strains. So it takes ages and is more likely to bate you out. It has a very distinctive smell and taste so it wouldn't be hard to tell, so next time I'm home I'll see what it's saying.

Ye the bamboo def helps you get the most out of a tent so I'd recommend it for sure.

Safe

You living in Holland? I'm jealous blud! That's my dream :) Awesome, my plan is to study for a CELTA and teach English over there one day. Props to you man! I go to 'dam a lot, five times last year. Getting sick of the place now, where do you recommend to go?

well done guys lookin more impressive every update... I'm looking forward to seeing those buds swell up and get covered in trichomes. Just out of interest are the sativas making the canopy uneven now the plants are flowering?

Yer, we live in Holland! It was also kinda my dream, hence being here. It makes growing easier, much less heat and you can sample pretty much every strain and find out which one you like before you grow it. However, with both of us being Londoners, we always sway towards cheese, can beat that unmistakable taste! Yer bro, just do it! We're both studying here, and life is sweet. I will say one thing, teaching the Dutch to speak English is like saying you'll teach Asians to do maths. They ALL speak English, most of them better than me, sorry to crush your dreams bru! A'dam is probably the best place to go for chronic, its cheaper there than where we are, as were close to the Belgium border. Theres a lot of nice places in Holland though, go to Lieden or just rent a car and take it for a spin :) Loving the Pizza box btw, thats some ingenious shit!

Jah bless

Cheers OTK, its nice to hear! Yer boi, can't wait to see them swell up, some of the tops are already shooting out loads of pistils. Nah, quite funny but its actually the sativa pheno's of Blue Cheese, their stretchy sluts! We had to prop the smaller Cheeses up to bring them to the canopy. The BC's are also alot wider than the topped plants, they seem to be developing some nice secondary bud sites. No signs of hermies either! You thinking of getting a set-up when you move into a house next year? Maybe pull off a little auto PC box grow?

TC

well keep us updated! haha man id love too, guess il see how it goes wit the Landlord situation, not quite as easy over here! I tell u what u lot doin this has got me the closest to gettin back into it in a while!
Peace otk47

hey guys not much to report, but plenty of pics. we've been feeding the plants with both flower and grow nutes for a little while now. the cycle goes: grow-flower-water and seems to be working. although we have some odd colouring on some of the leaves on the shining silver haze, which i'll put up some pics of. they've been growing like nobody's business in all directions, but some more than others so we've had to raise some of them up repeatedly.

please comment if you feel the urge.
