1st grow bagseed... just one

alright so ive never grown before, but I know a few people who do so I figured I would try my hand at it, not really thinking that it would work.... but here we are.

I started her thinking that I would go 12\12 from seed but after a week I switched to 18\6 for 3 weeks, and then went back to 12\12 on the 15 of dec. so that puts us at 23 days of flower.

My setup is just in a closet, with 5 23 watt CFLs, 4 2700k, 1 6500k. Anyway Im just looking for some feedback, advice...whatever...

looks great so please for give my noob question bag seed is just some random seed correct that you got out of a bag of weed you bought correct, looks freakin great, im on my 18 day veg being impatient want to smoke so ill be cutting light down 12/12 hope fully the 3 plants i got going will be female hope fully all 3 but will be happy with 2 then ill take clones from females and start groing a mini gorrilla grow in door closet style lolz, looking great i know i said that already excuse me im stoned and high on lorecets lolz

just wonderin are the white spots all over the 3rd picture just a bad camera shot or something? i dont notice it in any of the other pictures and looks nice. some minor nute or heat issues or something but nothing i would worry about if it was my plant

looks great for 23rd day of flower man, it looks like that things gonna turn into one giant nug, shes buddin all over the stem already!

like skervy said, there might be sumthin with heat or nutes fuckin with it, but as long as its not gettin any worse ur straight

hey thanks guys, but ya that third pic shows some burn from the lights, she grew too much while I was at work. But my camera is a piece of garbage ill try to get some better pics up.And ya she pretty much is one big bud.

Im curious if I can try to tie some of the lower branches down so they stick out farther, right now they are kinda growing straight up through the rest of the foliage, maybe have a LST effect????

oh and ya I just found a seed in a random bag

if you just want another plant i'd take a clone, unless you're just curious and want to find another strain - but the structure on this baby is great! got the vertical structure of a sativa but fat indica nugs! (or i should say nug) you should look into https://www.rollitup.org/advanced-marijuana-cultivation/151706-uncle-bens-topping-technique-get.html for a clone, and you'll have four giant nugs

ya ive looked into topping but i think that its too late, i thought that you have to top just before you switch to flower. im probably gunna harvest it then try to re- veg, then take a bunch of clones and try 4 plants

also wondering if anyone can tell me, i was reading the faq's and it said not to completely flush at the end just before harvest, said to dilute your nutes but still use them, can anyone clarify???

Dankest christmas tree I ever did see. IF your using non-organic nutes flush definently, maybe put in a drop or two of molasses every other watering to get them bacteria working

thanks man i actually named it little tree haha,
but ya im not using organic so iv been trying to feed her only a little bit, but i want to try molasses, but dont know enough about it, can you tell me more??
and ya im gunna put some more pics up cause she is starting to turn white and im starting to wonder how much longer, been 31 days.

yea DEFINITELY too late to top now, i meant if you take a clone and use that technique to give it four colas you'll have a huge harvest, cus of the structure of that strain, it practically lollipopped itself!

hard to tell how much longer from those pics, do u have a high quality camera u can use to take trichome pics?

ya i dont have a better camera, buying one soon, but probably gunna be to late, i figure about 7 days, but i was reading the feb issue of high times and it was saying that for the last 3-5 days before harvest you shut off all light and give her cold water, supposed to help???

ive heard some things about it, most of what i heard was for 24 or 48 hours - ill probly do 24 of dark cus i dont like taking the plant away from its natural life cycle that much, and i think 3/4 days is overkill, the buds will start to die by that time, and wont be pushing much more resin into them (this is the point of the last bit of light

ya good point maybe i will only do 24 hours, makes sense. have you ever tried to regrow a plant after harvest, the faq makes it seem pretty easy, any advice?

actually no, sorry, my previous grows have all been outdoor so its a lot harder to keep it living through the winter - but i say go for it, just do the research and theres probably a sticky about it
how long has she been flowering so far? should be done soon right?

nice ive always wanted to grow outside, ive seen some pretty big trees that my friends have grown, but its pretty hard to do in canada, not that long of a growing season, at least where i live. but ya im just gunna try to do it see if it works, if not whatever i still managed to get some homegrown out of her. plus it was a bagseed so no money lost on real good seeds.
it has been 40 days flower today so im thinkin another 2 or 3 days then im gunna go dark for the last day, and im picking up a magnifyier so i can look at them trichomes.

Looks like the plant might have suffered minor nute burn but other than that DANK!
Strong looking plant with good looking bud

Definately dont harvest too soon, wait for atleast 3/4 of all the tricomes change to a hazel brown color.. Pulling your plant to early culd ruin your buds tast and potency
