1st grow, about 4.5-5 weeks into veg.

come on somebody! give me some feedback. i have them in fox farm soil. in my grow box with three sidepanel lights and one cfl in the middle hanging over them. at what point should i start giving them any kind of nutrients? should i give them more light? i dont have a fan yet but i am getting one when i get paid. any tips and comments would be nice.

You need more light, those are very small for 5weeks. One CFL for all those plants won't cut it. I'd probably add more lights, and then start giving it some nutrients high in N.

thats what i was wondering. they seemed pretty small for their age. i will definately do that. they have gotten alot bigger in the last couple of days though

right on. i recently switched to 24 hour lighting to give them a little boost. i dont know if you know this desertflower but i have 3 side panel 40w floros and one 24w cfl hanging in the middle of all three of them. im going to get a ouple more lights and hang at least one over each plant. do you guys think that will be good? and what ferts if any do yall suggest. i dont wanna damage them, obviously, and the 5 weeks is honestly a guess because i dont remember exactly when i sprouted them. a mistake i will not be making on my next grow. thanks for your guysesseses feedback.

They look like they're doing good, once my plants got their first 5 blade leaf is when they really started taking off if it is the same strain you can expect a little less than a foot of growth in a week especially if you're still adding more light.

wow. ill be looking forward to that. about how long do you think i should keep them in veg? and what nutes would you recommend using? im not confident in my knowledge of nutes and just feel like ill fuck up my plants but if i had some good reccomendations i would feel better about it.

get those mirrors outta there, and put some mylar, or aluminum foil instead. your plants may be small, but im sure its roots are nice and full.

the mirrors are just the panels to my grow box specifically to promote photosynthesis, but i could probably coat them with mylar. and isnt foil shit to use?

my biggest childs first five blade leaves just showed up this morning when i watered them. stoked!!ill post a pic later.

Hey Man! This is jesse from myspace. So maybe I can shed a little light on your babies. haha They look good. A little small for there age, but that happens sometimes. I see so bomb ass weed veging with the cfl's so I know its possible! haha Myself, I use a four bulb 4' florescent, kinda like a t-5. It made my plants nice and bushy. Your plants arnt streching, so thats good. If you want them to veg bigger next time, invest in a florescent light, or get a m.h. light. You can veg them for as long as you want really, but anytime after 6 weeks is fine to switch over to 12/12. Also, I started my plants on 24hour lighting at first, but after doing lots of reasearch I found out that its better to give them a little down time. So once I switched them over to 20 hours on, 4 hours off, they seemd to get a lot bigger, and stronger. But I would wait to flower them till they got about a foot or more tall outta the pot. You using any nutrients? What kind of light are you gonna use for flowering? Do you know what the ph levels are? and temp of room? anyways keep me posted, and nice pic's! cant wait to see how they turn out!

right on man. as it is i had them on 18/6 lighting for the first 2.5 weeks and then decided to switch to 24 hour lights, but i think ill switch them to 20/4 pretty soon to, like you said, start giving them some down time. when i switched to 24 hours and they seemed to perk up alot and the leaves got a bit bigger but that could also have been the natural progression of things. as i said i noticed the first five pedal leaves this morning and was pretty stoked. im gonna go get two more cfl's tommorow and give em a little more light. i do know that the ph has been in between 7.0 and 6.5, and i have a thermometer strip, like for a lizards tank, in there and it has been stayin under 80 at its hottest and no lower than 74. i honestly dont know what kind of lights im gonna use for flowering, what would you suggest, and what might be the cheapest? also, i have not been using nutrients yet but what would you suggest for that too?, i have them in fox farm soil so i thought i might just stick with that brand fert too. maybe not. its good to hear they are looking good. thanks for your advice and comments man. i think its pretty funny i found you on here. i mean of all the ganja forums you could be a part of and your on r.i.u. dope man. get back at me. oh yeah i might be wantin to hear some more information on those clones.

i need help! what nutes would be the best to use, my plants are about 6 weeks veg and i havent given them any food. i get paid tommorow and i want to get everything i need to put them in flowering stage in about a week. what lights would be best for flowering?
