These pics are 3 days old but how do they look so far? They are in there 15 day of veg and I topped 3 of them today and also trimmed all 6. I want to let them veg for atleast 2 more weeks. I would like them to be between 18"-24" before flowering. I will be adding atleast 600 more CFL watts but maybe 800 when I switch to flower or is that an over kill? Here are some pics of my crappie set up, all I hope for is good dense buds.

Nobody has responded to how they look so far. they are 18 days into veg. They are between 10"-12" tall now and I want atleast 18"-24", hopefully I can fit another 20-26 more in there for flower for a total of 60-64 Bulbs, 1500 CFL watts or 6000 incandescent. After all the box is only 6 sq ft or 24 cu ft.

Do you know the K of your bulbs? Cause your going to need to switch them all to 2700-3000k for Flowering and you wana Veg with 5000-6500k. I have tried mixing 2700 and 6500ks they simply do not give as good as results as if your using all 2700k-3000k for Flower.

well one light is 6700 and then theres a 250 watt heat lamp and then theres 4 25 watt cfls the plants seem to be pretty happy beside a little light burn

man looks great so total of 38 bulbs have total of 20 on my 5'x3' grow damn man good luck shit should be narly

I did get wind burn early on but they were fan leaves and they are pretty much gone from dieing and falling off. I wll be swithching most of the lights to 2700k but will still keep a few 5000k. There are no heat lamps in this garden, it is hard enough to keep cool temps. When flowering comes I will have approx (55-60) 23 watt 2700k bulbs and (10-15) 26 watt 5000k bulbs. I plan to let them veg to atleast 24" but more is ok as height is a bit of a problem but not major so if they get over 5' I will have to bend them and add more lights. My goal is to get 2000 CFL watts in a 6 sqft area 2'x3'. I am driving my wife crazy for buying more lights but I guess she just won't understand when I tell her I really need 5000 watts so 2000 don't seem so bad but I would like 5000.

damn man thats crazy alot of cfls have 18 plants in my 5 x 3 grow all over 2 to 2-1/2 ft tall thought i had alot of cfls

Do you think it is to much? This is my first grow and I'm just going day by day. Everyone says the more light the better but there a such thing as to much? I do want the final height to be between 4-5 feet. My license only allows 6 mature for my county and I do want to stay in those guide lines but I also want as much bud as I can produce in 4-5 FT
